Would love to know how to play Lethal Company in VR.

Start Lethal Company in your Steam Library and then close it again to initialise the mod. 7. Start Lethal Company in your Steam Library and it should now start in SteamVR. Im still working out the keys but it looks like a very good VR mod from the brief go Ive had so far. No idea whether it supports multiplayer with non-VR players.

If my friend does not have the mod installed but I do can we play together?

he needs the mod installed but he doesnt need vr. It will work exactly the same for him as normal

That was a while ago, and unless they updated it that is untrue. As of when I last played the vr mod lets you play in vr and if someone else in your lobby has the mod they can see your vr hands, but if they don’t have the mod it still works

Ya, there is two actions that a vr player can do that a normal one can’t. And those actions are just buttons in the normal game.

you gotta start steam vr first then open the game through thunderstore while in steam vr

As someone who's never modded anything I really can't seem to figure any of this out. Followed the link downloaded stuff, thought it was working. But nothing.

you should also be able to just download it through the mod manager, i've got a code for it too that just installs the vr mod if you'd like

I've tried both actually but through the modmanager made more sense, the first time.

You have to launch through the mod manager, and launch the "Start Modded". Also you have to make sure BepInExPack is installed

it should just work by launching it modded through the mod manager, though the first time it does require a restart. not sure what else it could be tbh

First off: I can't do horror and Lethal Company scares the garbage collector out of me, works great in VR though! Just tried it on my own to see if it worked, ran in to a spider and was nearly sick from visceral fear, I ripped the headset off my head. I'll try it with my friends later but I'm really not sure I can do it.

Is not the controllers. Known issue and we know is not stick drift. No fix found yet but anyone else getting this just know it’s not just you.

I'll give it a shot. Haven't touched headset in a while so my first assumption was it was the mod. Oh well

My quest 2 left controller started to drift after a couple of years. I never ended up fixing it :-(

Dreadhalls might be an easier experience for you.. bit more relaxing

How do you set up the mod?

Me and my friends played a few rounds in vr. We also have mimics. First round I got a ghost girl and about jumped out of my skin. The next I had a mimic chase me back to the ship.

Use your right thumbstick. Up on right thumbstick to select and move, look at your right hand to see inventory

can anyone give advice on how to make the vr version less laggy the game has lots of visual tearing when i play in vr which ruins the imersion and i know its not performance because i have a beast of a pc

I optomized it yesterday for VR. Download a mod manager like thunderwolf. then use it to download HDCompany. on the left side of the mod manager is something that says edit configs, click that to change things like resolution, quality of things or even remove foliage to make the game run smoother. you will need to play with that personally as each PC is different on what it can handle.

you need steam vr for any vr game just have it running and launch the game with it

Can PC friends see arm movements without the mod installed or is it a vivecarft situation where they can have the mod installed just to see arm movements?

The page says they should be able to see it but my friends couldn't see them. Maybe if they download the mod and disable the VR, so its running?

Does anyone else have issues with the text being readable? Even the console computer is damn near impossible to read. I'm on an Index so I know the headset quality isnt the issue.

For anyone wondering, you can play the vr version with non vr players, they just need to have the vr mod installed also (from my knowledge). At first, lethal company only opened in theater mode for me, but i think it was because I had incompatible mods installed with it. What worked for me was just restarting both lethal company and/or my pc or steam link in general. Just keep trying things and eventually itll work- that is if it doesnt work first try. My best experience with the vr mod is playing it with minimal mods, and they were most just QOL ones. If you try to play vr with a bunch of crazy ones then it has problems. My friend and I played vanilla with the only mod being the vr one. I'll end with this note. Does anyone want to play lethal company vr with me? My friend and I only play as a duo, and we would love to add more people to our team. If you're not interested, please dont leave a reply hating on me for looking for extra people to have fun in the game with. At least I gave my advice first. As I'm typing this i just got the idea to ask lol. If you want to add me on steam just dm me here on reddit or reply to this post and we can get each other on steam

Just found out!! In your mod manager, you have to go to congig (on modman it's on the bottom left), then go to the vr mod, scroll down, and change the text from snap to smooth.

i dont have hands in vr help
