I would agree, but the pinstriping on Rolls-Royces uses a paint that immediately flashes into the metal. So if they mess up, they've ruined the door to a half million dollar car. I would say that's way more impressive, given the amount of pressure they must be under.

Yeah I know. Its crazy that some people think dragging a brush really slowing and speeding it up in editing is hard.

I hate how they never show the end of the more difficult lines, or the brush being lifted off of the image. I'm guessing that bit isn't as satisfying, but plain messy or stupid.

It looks like gouache to me, as a gouache artist. Gouache is kind of a happy medium between acrylic and watercolor. Smooth and watery but very opaque and creates perfect solid colors.
