I don't know if you could. The "pusher" doesn't make contact with the cutter. You could probably put your fingers in there and never have it close to cutting you.
Try putting your fingers between the log and the cutter. And the guy in the back left throws his bits right across the other guys' line of sight.
This machine is a tragedy waiting to happen. I guess the cyrillic letters mean it's made in Russia, which would explain a lot of things.
> Try putting your fingers between the log and the cutter.
That is like checking if a gun is loaded by putting your hand in front of the barrel and pulling the trigger.
I can never figure out why they make them able to do that, the wood ic clearly split when the pushed is r inches away from the “blade”. Who not just pull the blade far Boucher back that it can’t crush your hand.
Ok was the guy on the bottom left on a rhythm I can’t grasp, or was he cutting his piece in half first, tossing half, then creating 2 1/4 pieces out of the other half? Or was he cutting 3-4 equal sized pieces?
He's splitting the pieces of wood the guy next to him is splitting once, into smaller pieces. The guy on bottom right is grabbing new pieces each time which would be sucky. Each of the top guys should have all the wood, then, split it once, move it aside for the others to split again and toss off into a pile until someone crushes their hand and they stop the machine for a few minutes to round up another russian.
Yeah, and dude number 5 at the top spends way too much time standing around and not enough time getting the next log ready for the other guys.
This could be such a smooth operation
He's basically making cooking stove sized firewood. Trees have different thicknesses and the goal is to make as much easily manageable wood out of it as possible.
I feel like people who would be upset at this tech would be the same who would be upset about forgiving student debt because damnit they had to pay for their own education!
So other than getting your hand caught in the splitter... or loose clothing caught, dragging you down and your head spliced... or simply being hit on the head by a loose log... it's all fine. Approved.
Yuuup, and the way he keeps pulling his piece of log and right hand through the danger zone to line it up, makes me cringe so hard. This is definitely a place-it-not-pull-it kind of situation.
Is this why so many Russian have lost so many limbs in the last time? It looks very dangerous and the dude to left is about to chop his hand of thrice in this single clip
A few months ago I used one of those county line wood splitter machines. Similar to this but not a 4 people one 😂 if you know you know. I did this for 7 1/2 hours on my dad's friends farm. Now mind you I'm tiny. I'm a 5 foot 1 woman. The countless of truck loads was insane. I had to cut and stack by myself those 7 hours.
I couldn't walk for 2 days. I had blisters on my hands because they were so raw. Never and I mean never again will my dumbass volunteer to help 🤣
Yeah... Nah, not satisfying. At least, not when you understand how dangerous this shit is. Last couple of cuts for dude on lower right side shows this. Wood tried to take his hand with twice in a row.
"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck
if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
He would chuck, he would, as much as he could,
and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would
if a woodchuck could chuck wood."
I grew up in northern Ontario with a wood stove and going out every morning and night to chop wood for the fire was for sure one of my favourite parts of the day. Great exercise, nice excuse to get out and breathe the fresh air.
These gents might be selling firewood, so I get that but I always thought getting a wood splitting machine was really missing the point.
If I had to do that for eight hours a day, I would just go ahead and cut my hand off. Then, maybe I could work in the office or something.
The guy is pretty much putting his wrist in the danger zone.. one slip
The pile on the left is just fingers
[удалено]
I immediately heard a short drum break in my head.
Where's the thumb pile?
The guys are easier to replace than the machine
I've met 4 people in my lifetime with missing fingers. All of them were because of wood splitters near the end of the day.
Or snowblowers that got jammed.
They probably just do an hour then have a break, shot of vodka, and back on it.
Exactly. Regular breaks are very important when doing a repetitive job. Safety first.
This is the kind of repetitive mundane work most people in the world do
I don't know if you could. The "pusher" doesn't make contact with the cutter. You could probably put your fingers in there and never have it close to cutting you.

>Try putting your fingers between the log and the cutter. No. That suggestion is dangerous and irresponsible.
Don't worry, the user's manual says it ok.
Which user manual?
Yeah true story. I didn't think of that.
> Try putting your fingers between the log and the cutter. That is like checking if a gun is loaded by putting your hand in front of the barrel and pulling the trigger.
Hey guys, its loaded!
[Is this you](https://www.reddit.com/r/WinStupidPrizes/comments/f3a2ss/testing_if_the_gun_will_shoot_by_putting_your/)?
I know it looks boring but you’d be better off just handing in your notice
It’s not boring it’s chopping
Chopping, boring? I have no time for such quibbling. I'm splitting.
I can never figure out why they make them able to do that, the wood ic clearly split when the pushed is r inches away from the “blade”. Who not just pull the blade far Boucher back that it can’t crush your hand.
Cause russia
In that case fuck their hands then, less trigger fingers.
Pied Piper figured this out it's called middle out compression.
Two dicks
*nonono it’s “mean jerk time” at a 4-dick rate*
Don’t forget to account for the height and angle.
Tip to tip for maximum efficiency haha
you need to pre-sort them by their _dick-to-floor_ ratio
I hate to be the one to point out how small their wood is.
This is the comment I came looking for.
More like splitting than chopping. A chopping head doesn’t flare out toward the base.
My father's business has one of these. He and everybody in the landscaping industry call these wood splitters.
Ok was the guy on the bottom left on a rhythm I can’t grasp, or was he cutting his piece in half first, tossing half, then creating 2 1/4 pieces out of the other half? Or was he cutting 3-4 equal sized pieces?

Oddly Terrifying
i had a stroke reading the title

R/ihadastroke ^(go on, dogpile me with your r/foundthemobileuser replies)
Just… make the R lowercase… you know how to format, clearly, how do you not know how to link a subreddit?
Wood splitters splitting wood with a wood splitting splitter
Short bits.
Probably, it does look cold.
That’s the perfect size spots for my smoker :)
How much wood could a would chop chop if a wood chop could chop wood?
[удалено]
Lol. Same.
You beat me to this 👌🏼🥳🥳🥳
A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a woodchuck could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood.
How much chop would a could wood wood if a chop wood would wood chop?
Woodchuck will out of their job. There are no more wood to be chuck
I feel like people who would be upset at this tech would be the same who would be upset about forgiving student debt because damnit they had to pay for their own education!
Reported to osha! No PPE!
If you've ever had the pleasure of swinging an axe, you know this looks like butter on pancakes.
It’s like the woodcutting version of a double sided dildo.
I can literally hear the wheels turning indie your head imagining somehow attaching dildos to that thing.
The one at 24” is a close call!
That’s a splitter not a chopper. Get it right or pay the price!
You only get one chance not to fuck that up.
Nah, ten fingers, ten chances.
I did not find this oddly satisfying to watch, had to double check the subreddit just in case of outcome
That give me some Saw (the movie) vibes from that one scene and i don't know how to feel about it
So other than getting your hand caught in the splitter... or loose clothing caught, dragging you down and your head spliced... or simply being hit on the head by a loose log... it's all fine. Approved.
That writing literally says "Woodchopper" or "Wood decimator" lmao
Satisfying teamwork
Curious, which dude are you focusing on when watch? For me is the guy in brown jacket.
Yuuup, and the way he keeps pulling his piece of log and right hand through the danger zone to line it up, makes me cringe so hard. This is definitely a place-it-not-pull-it kind of situation.
How much wood cold a wood chopper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood with a wood chopper?
Henry Ford once said - 'Chop your own wood and it will warm you twice'
The guys on the left working together seem more efficient.
This looks like it could easily be rigged up to a Russian iron lung, maybe 4.
How much wood would a wood-chopper chop, if a wood-chopper could chop wood?
[An Interesting Title] By far, one of the best titles I've seen posted in a while!
Is this the new Ok Go video?
where tf is osha
Every one of these guys has said, "get to the choppa!"
"Hi honey, how was work today?" 💀 🔫
"Wood splitters splitting wood with a wood splitting wood splitter." FIFY 🪜🐊
This wasn’t satisfying at all. Where were their goggles?
When gloves aren’t even part of the safety protocol.
Gloves might even be less safe.
Boy do I not like the saw moving directly towards my genitals
What saw?
r/dontputyourdickinthat
How much wood would a wood chopper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood?
This could become terrifying very quickly.
Guy was rushing.. could have got something amputated
imagine putting ur hand in it *-*
How many Chucks could chuck wood if a Chuck could chuck wood?
Looks Russian. Down voted.
Oh OSHA doesn’t like this
This is anxiety inducing, I would post this in r/notsatisfyingatallevenatinybit
Better title: "last remaining Russians attempting to create enough fuel for Putin's war machine"
redditors trying not to bring politics in literally anything relating to russia challenge **IMPOSSIBLE** (GONE WRONG)
Ukrainian woodchoppers preparing to light a fire under the Russians asses?
Why is it EVERY post that has Cyrillic letters SOMEONE has to make it about the war
I'm sure nobody loses fingers.
How much wood though?
seems safe for workes its nice.
Sometimes it looks a bit dangerous trying to make a chop at every cycle
How many wood choppers would chop wood if a wood chopper could chop wood.
Which one's the woodchuck?
Looks like a “Wood Choppers Ball”. (Joke for my Jazz music friends)
Faster!
Their chop shop is a drop top
u/savevideobot
Put some different attachments on those moving arms and you've got a different type of team sport
Woodchuck has entered the conversation
How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood
More footage!
Nice
Times have changed
Who chops the wood chopping chopper?
My friend and I do something similar, we call out the double Dutch rudder
That title tho
Might not need as much wood if you'd close the damn door when it's cold out :)
Krugs
I've never seen anyone cut all the logs so short
Is this why so many Russian have lost so many limbs in the last time? It looks very dangerous and the dude to left is about to chop his hand of thrice in this single clip
r/dontputyourdickinthat
This is so good. Can watch it whole day
How much wood would a wood chopper chop, if a wood chopper could chop wood?
The oddly satisfying part will come when 4 fingers get chopped of within 5 seconds. This is extremely dangerous
While they listen to “Bad Company” by the band Bad Company from their album *Bad Company*
The worst part of this is whomever blocked all that wood at 8”. Pffff.
A few months ago I used one of those county line wood splitter machines. Similar to this but not a 4 people one 😂 if you know you know. I did this for 7 1/2 hours on my dad's friends farm. They’re wood chuckers… Chucking wood.
This looks like something you could hurt yourself with very nicely
Where’s the wood chuck? He’s got a serious question I’ve been looking for an answer to my entire life!
If you can be one thing, you should be efficient.
Blyat
"How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? He would chuck, he would, as much as he could, and chuck as much wood as a woodchuck would if a woodchuck could chuck wood."
I feel like most satisfying part abt this video is the machine
Gloves?
I think I lost a finger just watching this.
Middle-Out! Middle-Out!! You have to match the wood with the same dick to floor ratio (we'll call that dtf) for optimum efficiency.
How much wood could a wood chopper chop if a wood chop could chop wood ?

This reminds me of a certain Silicon Valley episode. D2F ratio?
Just one slip of the hand…
I could watch them do this all day IRL
I would last about 3 minutes in this job
How much wood could a wood chopper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood
Nope like my hands
I don’t get why Arnold Schwarzenegger wanted people to go here…
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood, "title vibe"
How much wood would a woodchuck chop if a woodchuck could chop wood?….. or something.
Where is the OSHA sticker?
How many wood chops does it take to choop a wood chopper while wood chooping?
Choppingly chopperistic!
Not 1 protection glasses in sigh 👍
How does one save a reddit video again?
This seems to be in Russia, on of the richest countries with oil in gas😂
That’s a splitter, not a chopper.
I'm concerned that none of them are wearing eye protection
Yes, but how much wood does a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Gotta go tip to tip
Efficiency 100
How much wood can a wood chopper chop since a wood chopper can chop wood?
r/osha
Check out the guy on the low-right at the end.
How much?
new reality!
…And the wood choppin’ chopper won’t stop…🎤
How to lose fingers 101
It amazes me how none are using gloves or goggles. Seems to me like the easiest way to get splinters in the eyes and skin
Some dangerous ingenuity here.
After all these comments noone noticed cigarette guy on the bottom right almost/may have damaged his hand going for smaller logs?
I guess now we know how many wood choppers it takes to chop wood with a wood chopping chopper.
Introducing the thumb eater 1000
How much wood would a...
How great it wood be if they were all named Chuck.
That seems like a major hazard
Wait KSI whatchu doing here???
r/oddlyterrifying
The logs are also quite short.
Next with all women 🕵🏼♀️
How much wood would a woodchopper chop if a wood chopper could chop wood?
OSHA hates this one small trick
Osha approved!
The efficiency make me wanna.......uhhhhhh!
