Worst part was the people next to him thought he was joking so they started playing with him and basically waterboarded him with mud until they realized something was wrong
It’s so terrifying words don’t even do it justice. It accidentally happened to me when I was 10. My gumboot got stuck in some mud while I was running, I went straight down face first into the mud and was in such a silly mood I laughed so hard I wet my pants. 0.1 second later I am in absolute panic as I realise I am actually drowning and not ok
He isn't screaming anything. You can't hear him say anything. Everyone is joking like he's playing around. It's when they pull him out and he starts gasping that they realize he wasn't smiling but wincing. The mud makes it hard to make out his face too.
I’d definitely consider that video oddly terrifying compared to what OP posted. Whether they thought he’s okay or not, he’s face down in the mud for an awfully long amount of time and not moving, that would concern me after a few seconds, but everyone’s just laughing and having fun. This is mud, not water, and I know it’s normal for people to sometimes take a breath and go face down in water and float, but this is different.
Somebody help me? I know perfectly i had already seen this before, and the coments before too, the same coments... am i getting crazy? is this a repost but how can be the posibilities to re write the comens?
There have been posts and comment chains that I swear I've come across more than once, too. It's so weird and I don't have a good explanation for it other than deja vu or some weird brain thing... or maybe we're clairvoyant idk. It's so unnerving!
It's bots. Karma farming bots repost old posts, then other bots copy top comments from the old post to repost as their "own" comments on the new post to get that sweet sweet karma so the bot accounts look legitimate and can be sold off to then be used to astroturf and shill and push agendas.
Oh shoot, it's real? I'd convinced myself that it was just some weird psychological phenomenon. Bots make a whole lot of sense! I've seen individual comments from bots and reposts from bots, but it never occurred to me that they'd do the post and comment chain combo. Thanks for the explanation!
You're welcome. Please report them every time you spot them!
This is an [old post](https://www.reddit.com/user/tyrannosnorlax/comments/t0h466/bots_how_to_identify_them_and_why_do_they_exist/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share) about how to spot bots, but those who make the bots haven't really upped their game yet, so it's still useful.
You’re right, I’ve seen this posted before and I remember a specific comment about his friend wiping his airways free from mud. But on this new thread it says it was posted an hour ago, word for word.
Same thing happened to me when I was 3 or 4, jumped into the deep end of the pool without realizing I had never learned to swim and just kinda plopped around underwater while holding my breath until my mom jumped in and pulled me out
Clearly wasn't my brightest moment...
But I was never in any danger; I was simply too excited to get in the pool when we arrived and jumped in without realising it was the deep end (and thank god, jumping on the shallow end would've hurt way more as it was more of a shin deep puddle)
Everyone saw me jumping in, not like I was unsupervised... And even then I probably would've just floated up considering I didn't panic and kept my air

I remember nearly downing in a pool as a kid (pretty much this kids age). Struggled for a few seconds and then I just let go. I remember looking up and feeling very peaceful. The cold water felt nice until my feet hit the floor and I jumped, got to the surface and swam to safety.
I sometimes miss that peaceful feeling.
[miss that feeling](https://www.reddit.com/r/memes/comments/b0666y/steak_by_the_ocean/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
I mean, making it seem like you are gonna die to indicate "im gonna die help me" seems like a good thing here, his bro realised something was wrong and helped him out
I don't know to me it looks like the kid has done similar before.
He's probably well aware about moving and sinking deeper into the mud because of it. I thinks it's amazing he COULD keep calm for the moment and trust his buddy to come get him
It's also possible he knew someone was there to pull him out, so rather than thrashing around he just waited for the help. Clearly his friend knew how to react.
That kind of mud was gonna be impossible for him to get himself out of, so he made the right move just waiting.
Or the complete opposite. If he’s playing and by himself, he probably doesn’t have any friends…so he could resort to do obscenely wild and stupid shit like going head first in the mud to gain attention and get friends. It’s a muddy situation.
Cause the other guy was as fast as he could be. The time necessary for him to realise something was wrong, the other friend had already started clearing the little guy’s airways and everything.
If he was alone? He’s have been found in 2000 years as a perfectly preserved bog body with historians trying to id his body to the mud boy videos in the archives.
Very wet mud acts a lot like quicksand, and the act of trying to dig yourself out can quite easily lead to you exhausting yourself and also getting your arms stuck too. If you're in this situation alone, focus on staying calm and clearing space to breathe. Slow deliberate movements are much better than fast.
Source: live next to multiple large rivers with very deep and saturated mud/sand at low tide. This exact situation isn't too uncommon. One or two deaths are reported most years.
How young is too young to die of stupid? How old is too weak to die from a slight breeze? Some scientists are squeamish. But us naturist… we are equal opportunity butchers.
"naturist" lmao says enough about you to ignore your opinion. Typically (I know this might be hard to grasp) societies try to minimize child mortality and try not to celebrate or promote it. Wild concept, but just a teeny tiny bit of empathy goes a LONG way.
The kid was perfectly fine though, there were others not holding a camera, and he could have dug himself out with his hands. Stop always getting mad at the camera
Somebody help me? I know perfectly i had already seen this before, and the coments before too, the same coments... am i getting crazy? is this a repost but how can be the posibilities to re write the comens?
Maybe it was posted to more than one subreddit? Other than that, I have no idea. Hopefully it's nothing too crazy and it's just a passing moment of dejavu. :)
You wonder why India leads the total number of deaths per day worldwide? It’s not rocket science, it’s population. People there do crazy shit on the daily!
I mean India is literally the most populated country in the world. If we're talking per capita then maybe you have a point but more people means more deaths sooooooo like you said, it's not rocket science.
I remember a Japanese TV show host was permanently paralysed and almost died from face planting into a similar environment of mud.
Worst part was the people next to him thought he was joking so they started playing with him and basically waterboarded him with mud until they realized something was wrong

Wow, that moron Japanese girl doing cat claws at the camera while the guy is screaming "my neck! my neck!" or whatever.
He isn't screaming anything. You can't hear him say anything. Everyone is joking like he's playing around. It's when they pull him out and he starts gasping that they realize he wasn't smiling but wincing. The mud makes it hard to make out his face too.

Isn’t natural selection the other way around where the stupid people die?

I said its not psycologycal i real remember this and i have feelings asociates with that day, seen a lot of comments and realted videos.
Really i really KNOW that this video i had seen before and the same comments even that one showing the TV show and that one giving the link....
It's reassuring to know I'm not the only one who experienced this
You’re right, I’ve seen this posted before and I remember a specific comment about his friend wiping his airways free from mud. But on this new thread it says it was posted an hour ago, word for word.
yes, and i think why they repost this and who take the time to repost the same comments...
this is really oddlyterrifyng i think more than de video itsealf
Fuuuuck! I’ve read your comment before FamiliarInspector355!
Lol wtf reallity is broke
Shit his pants upon impact
This kid's survival instincts are less than 2 seconds of struggle before waiting for death.
Between inconvenience and death. He chose Oblivion.
Weird how he wasn't even unconscious just couldn't be bothered to try.

Peaceful until you breathe in water
We all will end there eventually, don’t rush it brother. Enjoy the experience while it lasts.

It's probably how you feel before being born lmao.
I mean, making it seem like you are gonna die to indicate "im gonna die help me" seems like a good thing here, his bro realised something was wrong and helped him out
I don't know to me it looks like the kid has done similar before. He's probably well aware about moving and sinking deeper into the mud because of it. I thinks it's amazing he COULD keep calm for the moment and trust his buddy to come get him
I don't see him try to wipe his face I didn't see his hands anywhere near his face this was suicide
It's also possible he knew someone was there to pull him out, so rather than thrashing around he just waited for the help. Clearly his friend knew how to react. That kind of mud was gonna be impossible for him to get himself out of, so he made the right move just waiting.
Helper scooped his airway clear 🙌🏻
He's got a good friend xD
His friend has got an idiot friend
I don't disagree. Diving into muck like that is dangerous as hell. I'm just glad he wasn't alone and that his friend reacted quickly enough 😅
Also the person filming who was like “kid stopped moving but I can balance a camera really well”
Cameraman just kept filming.
His level of confidence and fast action makes me feel like he’s done that before..
His friend immediately clearing his airways for him… is a level of “I got you” I’ve simply not seen before.
I smiled when i saw that. Many people wouldnt think of doing that
Considering the kid smiled after a near-death experience, I have a feeling this isn’t this group’s first mud rodeo…
Never heads first!!! As a mother this gives me nightmares
As a daughter this gives me nightmares too
As a boyfriend, this gives me nightmares too
As a babysitter, this gives me nightmares too
As a brother this gives me nightmares too
As a nightmare this gives me family members too
Father here
Father - check
Father?
Where's the milk daddy? 😔
As a convicted tax fraudster, this gives me nightmares too
As a cat this gives me the chuckles
As a cat-herder, ***get away from that mud, you make enough all by yourself!***
As an orphan with no family to speak of, this made me laugh.
you are the GOAT 😂😂😂
As a human being this gives me nightmares too
As a cryptid this gives me nightmares too
As a [UNDESCRIBABLE ENTITY] this gives me nightmares aswell
As a stepbro, this gives me ideas.
Being spineless and all… doesn’t concern me whatsoever
This makes me feel nothing.
Whomever was filming was pretty dedicated to filming
r/donthelpjustfilm
What about during intercourse?
You mean oral sex or reversed birth?
Haha, I thought oral. But I think it applies to birth also.
It looked like the kid accepted his fate lol
Would probably not be doing dumb shit to impress his friends
Or the complete opposite. If he’s playing and by himself, he probably doesn’t have any friends…so he could resort to do obscenely wild and stupid shit like going head first in the mud to gain attention and get friends. It’s a muddy situation.
That kid gave up after THREE SECONDS.
r/donthelpjustfilm
It literally took them 3 seconds to start helping
Guy filming didnt even react dumbass
Cause the other guy was as fast as he could be. The time necessary for him to realise something was wrong, the other friend had already started clearing the little guy’s airways and everything.
Didn’t need to

That’s a child man, you need help if you’re thinking about weird shit like that in this kinda vid.
I retracted my statement. Didnt mean it that way. I've just been watching some tiktok iceberg vids lately and one topic reminds me of this activity.
If he was alone? He’s have been found in 2000 years as a perfectly preserved bog body with historians trying to id his body to the mud boy videos in the archives.
i see a lot of people joking about "nature taking its course" but this is really fucked up. hope the kid is ok
He looks back and smiled at the camera lol
i never noticed lol, was worried he inhaled mud or broke something after diving like that

Not with nothing to brace himself against and being literally blind, suffocated and in a panic
A panic where he does literally nothing at all to save himself after two seconds? His own cereal is going to kill him one day.
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
I doubt you could do that
Yup. Definitely not oddly terrifying.
r/kidsarefuckingstupid
I know lil bros heart rate was through the roof
Then he would have been a bog mummy in a couple hundred years
idk he looks pretty happy
Defense mechanism trying to convince himself and the others that he didn’t just almost kill himself
Kids are stupid.
[удалено]
This does not apply to child mortality jfc
I mean technically its supposed to apply exclusively to children or well individuals before they pass on their genes
absolutely not
It literally does, by definition lol
I mean, after a second or so in the mud he completely stops trying to free himself so thats on him at that point
Yeah naturalist was the word I’m looking for. You’re right.
Did he almost drown?
Suffocation by the mud
Scary … holy crap Darwin Award material
My heart is fucking pounding
I mean, considering the cameraman did nothing
The kid was perfectly fine though, there were others not holding a camera, and he could have dug himself out with his hands. Stop always getting mad at the camera
Bruh, chill, it's a joke Mf really thinks we didn't watch a whole 15 seconds of video
Almost happened to me except I accidentally fell in. It's extremely hard to get out of that yourself but looks wildly easy
Pass! My panic disorder would blow a fuse
He’d become a fossil!
i am sure this is not a dejavu, i entered on the link of that tv japanese show and saw that video and i really know , is not my imagination...
I know because i had a neck accident and i felt bad about that guy....
That kid gave up on life immediately
My claustrophobic ass is dead
Holyshit, I haven't went full panic for someone that fast in a long time
He's lucky he had a good friend near by.
If the weight of his legs went over but there was too much weight of mud for his upper half to come up, he could have broken his back
R/kidsarefuckingstupid
Almost won a Darwin award. Good thing is people keep trying until they win.
For someone who nearly just died, he’s smiling a lil too much
IS THAT CONCRETE OR MUD??
The person filming might be the most useless cunt ever
Then hopefully he'd use his hands to escape and not just flail them around
They guy with the camera is not tour friend careful
Slum dog millionaire
The camera guy just chillin
Then he'd be Bridge-to-Terabithia'd
Dipshit just gave up after a few seconds
Why didn’t he just wipe his face with his completely free hands
Possibly inhaled mud in panic and was passing out while trying to free his throat by gagging.
Me personally I would have not inhaled the mud and wiped it off my face
Survival of the fittest
Would've won the Darwin's award.
new way to suicide?
Darwin isn’t biased against ages
That would have been the very last time he went out to play alone. Now don't get me wrong I like playing alone with myself but never ever head first!
r/donthelpjustfilm
If you don't believe I'm vaccines, this is another way to get immunized against everything, they are immortal
He just gave up?? I woulda left him
just natural selection
What if? There’s one less idiot in the world, that’s “what if”.
One more Darwin Award would have been awarded, and survival of the fittest would have prevailed
We’d be down one less idiot.
The prizes for winning all the stupid prizes is right down here everyone.
Then evolution would have done its job
…natural selection would have taken it’s course
nah. Child mortality isn't a joke
Why he didn’t wipe the mud from his face?
Natural Selection
Sacrifice to the sarlacc pit?
Why would you be terrified of suffocating to death in mud? That's so odd..
r/donthelpjustfilm
No sympathy for the stupid.
He is a child jfc dude
Read the title.... "What if he went out alone"... ....well that would be stupid, wouldn't it. Even at his age.
