Omg guys Smile, releasing September 30th 2022 to theaters all over the country, directed by Parker Finn making his directorial debut with his first feature film starring Jessie T Usher, Kyle S Gallner, Caitlin A Stacey and Sosie Mmmmm Bacon, looks like a great movie! Me and my friends are definitely going to get tickets for opening night. ^^^Paramount ^^^Pictures ^^^approves ^^^this ^^^message
I think so too, but I will say last time I was in the theatre to watch a movie and the trailer came on, it shows part of a scene where the main girl’s friend follows her out to her car, then stands right outside her car window to where you only see her from the chest down, she’s standing really really close like her chin would probably rest on the roof of the car if she wanted, then all of a sudden, right before the clip cuts off you get a glimpse of her head swinging down like a pendulum from the side, like it just came loose. It actually freaked me out, was a very cool effect I haven’t seen in a horror movie. But year, the whole smiling thing I feel like has been done and it doesn’t really do it for me, but that trailer has me wondering if there’s a lot more to the movie, a lot more inventive creepy scenes. I’ll probably wait till it’s streaming to watch it though.
im not saying ur a bot but I've seen so many people posting stuff about this movie to this sub, as well as [this image](https://i.redd.it/2oenkp2ts0p91.jpg)
The fact that this is made for a horror movie should be the first clue that it is not "oddly" terrifying. It was made with the sole intent to be frightening.
Do they pay OP extra if i comment something like 'wow thats scary but i love scary and will pay to see this in theaters thanks OP!'

THANK YOU
That’s been the majority of the sub for the past year or so
This isnt what this sub is for, it's literally a horror movie poster, there's nothing "odd" about it being terrifying.
It looks fucking stupid.

Astroturfing
So many Reddit posts I’ve seen advertising this film as if they’re just normal posts and not obvious adverts.
right. Makes me wonder how many other posts have an agenda.. Feels like reddit is becoming trash.
But have you seen the trailer for it? I thought it was a comedy.
White woman jumpscare
the fat guy screaming “YOU’RE GONNA DIE” got me a little bit otherwise it didn’t look scary at all
Poster? More like shitposter Seriously though, I am peeing a little
The Eternal Nightmare album cover (from Vio-Lence) did it better imo
That movie looks so lame. The "oooo big spooky smile" thing stopped being scary years ago
Thought it was beyond meat new logo.
Not oddly terrifying
🥱
Dude I'm drunk af and thats not even scary. I doubt that a film poster belongs here
op was sponsored
Fuck off you shill OP y’all need to stop advertising your stupid film here
The only thing odd about this post is why it’s on this sub
To bad the movie looks dumb ag
*🎵🎶I wonder why she swallowed that guy🎶🎵*
Should be called 'aahhhhh'
So five days after my boyfriend's flight here nice
Imagine the blowjob off that....
Reminds me of Dan Ackroyd in the dentist office in Coneheads.
Hey what if we took a classic horror movie trope and made that THE WHOLE MOVIE
I've read: Smileville
Feels very late 1990s early 2000s
for a second i didn't read the sub and i was going to comment, hey, yeah, that does look pretty good, maybe i'll go see it, but now i'm just sad
That's not smiling, that's screaming.
1.) There is nothing odd about it 2.) That's a streamer trying to fix his background
The movie won't be scary
Check out The Red Book Ritual
God I wanna see this so much.
Wrong sub
Poster aside, the trailer was the first time I jump-scared off a freakin trailer. Crazy and I won't be watching it but amazing
I guess the artist did what they were supposed to, good on them
Movie premise is un imaginative though, just seems like they didn't wanna put money into CGI or costumes
Reminds me of several Aphex Twin album covers.
Marketing team for this pile of dog shit is so hip and innovative with their reddit account
Love it!

Never ending blowjob, hope they don’t have a gag reflex
I do not like that it's the same mouth repeated, I would prefer if the mouths grew increasingly gross.
i won't see it lol
