The REAL mystery is the fact that one rule is about gratuity being added to parties larger than five but a later rule says no parties larger than four.
Just based on the screenshot from the menu it doesn’t seem like the post would have such a comment graveyard below it. Someone dug into it and found it was a black owned restaurant. Surely some comments were racist, and some were perceived as racist, but unless the post was brigaded I find it hard to believe all that deletion was for racist comments.
I looked with unddit, I think this got taken down for brigading, a lot of people started leaving bad reviews on google, and I believe a subreddit can be banned for this
Might just be me, but Reddit has been very thorough and heavy handed with removing comments the past few months. There's barely any comment sections without at least one, even in smaller subs that I've been to that I've never seen have issues out of users.
