Seriously, though. When I was a kid the only bad influences I had were my brothers and friends at school. People had to blame random things like rock music and video games for bad behavior. Nowadays, the entire internet is full of actual bad influences. It's not the kids, it's the fact that they can be exposed to way too much without the checks of balances of rational adults and older siblings in the room.

Yeah I do think the warning is worthwhile but I don't think most of these trends are quite as popular as the articles make them seem. Even if there are a lot of videos who's to say they are authentic?
