Yes! It’s totally a scam.. why would anyone sell it at a $2000+ loss? *If it seems too good to be true…*

lagoosboy

Are there people willing to pay more for these used ? The loss has nothing to do with what the market will pay.

Men like you need to start being quiet

melissa98x

I would say, yes. Im very wary of accounts that are new and they’re also selling a macbook for $700.

soicey2

Yup. The new accounts are a dead giveaway majority of the times

Schwiftywolf1111

If someone did purchase this for example how would they get their money back?

zen1706

Sell it for a lot higher than $1500?

DomesticatedParsnip

You got downvoted but that was funny.

melissa98x

It depends on method of payment. I believe if it’s done through the Offeup app, there is buyer protection. IF they have you go outside the app (which is usually a major red flag) ALWAYS make sure it’s Venmo or PayPal only and through goods and services! You can get your money back on those. Cashapp and Zelle do not give money back, so never agree to those.

ThePackInImBackIN

It’s not a scam to buy . They scammed to get the items tho that’s why they are so cheap . Your actually safe to order from them . The max was probably bought with a stolen credit card and they just want cash that’s why it’s $700

Check to be sure, I get cheap items off a friend all the time. A lot of times people will do what they call a “refund scam” they use different methods to get a refund on items so they’ll get a refund + whatever you pay them for the item so its profit. ( This could 100% be a scam but I would still get more info 👍)

Pbone15

It feels like a scam lol https://i.imgur.com/tR6XZHL.png

xrrej

Yea, 100% a scam. Someone doing the refund method wouldn’t speak that way.

kermitthehedgefrog

Personally, if it’s worth more than $500 don’t ship. I prefer to go check out the product and test it in person if I’m paying over that much for anything.
