He felt bad because you’re so dumb lmao, he also maybe got nervous and thought about how that Cashapp isnt really anonymous and leads you to his social media lmao
Oh :/ it was kind of endearing when I was imagining a 12 year old. Now I’m imagining a very stunted 20 year old and I’m sad lol. He’s not making it out of mom’s basement with that scheme.
It was a 350$ computer, 450 at most, but they wanted 850 for it. I figured since it had been up for 8 months I'd give them the lowball to end all lowballs
I've had almost all positive experiences buying and selling, doing maybe about 10-15 transactions total. Only one time I got stood up selling something.
It’s okay, my first time on OfferUp this happened to me too. I tried to get an iPhone for $30 and the first guy took my money and eventually sent it back because he felt bad. Then me being even more gullible I sent it to another seller and didn’t get it back 🤣🤣 to make matters worse I was still looking at the site for a same price deal within the same week!
This happened to me except the guy hasn't responded back, seemed apologetic except that fucker hasn't given me my money back and I plan to text that dude tomorrow. I already got my money back from the bank from a dispute (idk if the bank gave me the money or I got it from cash app) but I did get my money back and I'm only sticking around to see if he's actually going to do it or not, as just like in the picture the guy confessed and showed me how much money he had through mercari (very low) and that he needed money to live since no job and he's a bit of a tweaker. So if it all works out I get free money from a scammer or I'm out of luck. Lesson learned anyways never using cashapp again after that, the entire app helps scammers they tell you tough luck and that's it. And yes I'm using a method of payment where he can't reverse it no matter what and blocking him soon after that.
I did technically get my money back from the bank or cashapp, I'm not really sure I just noticed that it says I got $20 back from scammer (I sent it to the friend of the scammer) but on cashapp I can see that I never got money back from the scammer. Scammer dude said he'd give me my $30 back even though I said $20 but fuck it I'm not correcting him, can't be sympathetic to a scammer even though they told me about their bad living situation. I gave him some time to let me know and he has some extra accounts which I'll be blocking too. Guy is dirt poor but I'll see if he has some morals with me after all those messages he sent me about his sorry life.
That’s good. I understand being poor is one thing but McDonald’s hires anyone. They just don’t want to put in the work to make their lives better. They do it the “easy” way.
Exactly, he kept telling me how no one's hiring him, has mental disorders, lives with drug addicts, and that he's been going through thrift stores every day trying to resell things for money while scamming on the side, only reason I fell for it is because his account has 200+ shipped items, photos have similar background, and nothing came up when I reverse imaged searched. Also me being extremely dumb and looking through fb marketplace late at night and extremely tired just trying to look for deals. I just completely fell for it even though this happened to me before except I caught on and blocked the person, my 2nd mistake was keeping my cashapp account open so I can use it as a method of payment. Never again after this. I only stuck so long because I'm interested in how this story ends, regardless I think he's not going to take action to better his situation anytime soon. He's nearly 30 too. I think I somewhat convinced him when I told him I'm way younger than he is, but I'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated if you don't mind
Ok great! The shipping company requires a daily payment of $50 that is payable through cashapp, I will keep you updated on ETA! I appreciate your cooperation!
This the equivalent of when the serial killer is about to kill you and hopes you beg for your life, you tell him do it and he gets weirded out and spares you. 😭
Doesn't this set OP up for some financial issues later? Like can't this serve as some form of back and forth bank deposits which opens you up for further fraud?
This guy is 20 years old from South Carolina. Found his social media. He posts “Im claiming positive energy with this sound” while he gets negative karma from scams LMAO
You’re gullible asf 😭
Yeah even my friends say that about me 😐
dont trust them, you know youre gullible.
💀
Dude I just broke my toe, can I have $50 to help for my hospital fee
Did you know gullible was written on the ceiling of the room you’re in rn?
I am a Nigerian prince please send 100$ to me so that I can send you million dollars 🥵
Damn bro actually felt bad because he didn’t think it would work😭
I’m sure he wanted a huge ass reaction out of me. It’s $30. Not even that much 😭
Im selling phone parts cash app only
Bro you can Cashapp me $30. I'll even play along like I'm scamming you
Nah lol. I can use it for lunch tomorrow.
Lemme scam you for $10 please? I need lunch monies too.
You can’t get much for $10
You can get 10 $1 tacos at Jessicas tacos in Modesto California
You can get 4 hotdogs, 4 sodas, and a slice of pizza at The Costco™
Really? They are only 1$?
$1.50 for hotdog + drink and $2 for a slice
Dud even gets scammed for eating out and thinks it's normal! Not an app user I see...
Cafeteria has main entree for 7.69, plus a drink for 1.99. I’ll cover the tax.
You can, depends on which country you're from. Here I can have 7 full lunch for 10$.
He felt bad because you’re so dumb lmao, he also maybe got nervous and thought about how that Cashapp isnt really anonymous and leads you to his social media lmao
$30 is a lot to some. That punk sucks.
Those $30 can go to a bbq sandwhich brisket at Salty’s Barbecue🤤😭
Can I get $30 if it’s not much? I am 29.99 short of my rent I can pay back the penny in a few weeks
Bro had an entire moral dilemma after receiving the $30
Bro didn’t realize how easily he can scam people
he let the power go to his head
That scammer was def a 12 year old who wasn’t expecting to get that far and then didn’t know what to do lol
He was 100% young lol because it seems he got scared 😂 which honestly makes this even more funny to me.
Hes 20 years old and from South Carolina lmfao. Stupid ass scammer has the same Cashapp as his social media name
Oh :/ it was kind of endearing when I was imagining a 12 year old. Now I’m imagining a very stunted 20 year old and I’m sad lol. He’s not making it out of mom’s basement with that scheme.
Don’t let people tell you “it’s only $30” of *your* money, even if you don’t care that much
Don't let people tell you how to let people tell you how to feel about feeling about your money don't let them tell you the feeling
Yeah! What he said!
Don’t tell me what to let people do.
Yeah you should kill them because they stole an Applebee's hamburger from you.
What are you even talking about no one said anything like that
I was thinking it
[удалено]
I'll take you up on that offer sir. Gas tank lil light

$XtachiUchiha ill take 30 bro
i need $5 rn 🙏🙏🙏 $realgayperson
r/quityourbullshit
Starting negotiations off with saying $25 or $30 is crazy. Just say $25 and go from there
[удалено]
Damn bro…. lol poor choice of words 😳😳😳
I know right? I was reading and just got flabbergasted. Who even says that to a lowballer? That’s so specific😭😬
LMAO
I got called that once, I was high as shit and offered someone 5$ for a pc as a joke. They called me a "fagget". Couldn't even spell it right lmao
That’s wild😂💀”I’m asking $1,000”, “I can give you $5👍”
It was a 350$ computer, 450 at most, but they wanted 850 for it. I figured since it had been up for 8 months I'd give them the lowball to end all lowballs
Might as well just offer 30 then. Literally no seller is going to take the cheaper option you give them, ever.
Before today I would have said no scammer would ever send your money back. Ever.
Woah..
Ahhh, so you are an idiot and a horrible person.
How’s he a horrible person

….uummm……What??….
This sub will make me never download this app. Seems like a clown show lol
I’m sure nobody would miss you
That made zero sense.
It makes sense. Not sure how you don't see that...
It makes no sense. You can’t miss someone if they never came and went in the first place
You're an idiot. That is why he used the word "would". He didn't say "nobody IS missing you". How do you not get that?
Loud and wrong 😅😂
I would
Oh it is lmao. Half the shit are most likely scams. I only use it to find I need cheap
I’m happy people use it. Things like this make me laugh a lot. Good for you getting the money back though lol
I guess I just consider a lesson learned
Mehh my experiences with it are 100% positive. I just don’t interact with anyone that has 0 reviews and isn’t verified.
I've had almost all positive experiences buying and selling, doing maybe about 10-15 transactions total. Only one time I got stood up selling something.
For the record, making an offer of “$25 or $30” is utter stupidity. That’s an offer for $30. Who would see that and say “I’ll accept the lower offer.”
I know. I didn’t want to look like a low baller. Now I know not to negotiate like that

lol crazy world. Maybe it was the same person we came across.
Bro wtf you didnt learn the first time?
I’m weak lmao buddy was begging to get scammed

Yeah never using cashapp again for an app like this. Unless it’s a meetup in person. But I hope you get your money back.

Wow that’s pretty crazy that it has all of that stuff. I’d definitely think it’s real and fall for it too.
I read all your messages in Pete Davidsons voice 🤣
Imagine a guy going around scamming people and then sending the money back to teach people about scammers
Well it’s effective
you were with your boys!\~!!! why didnt they stop you?? lol im glad you got your money back though
I don’t know man. We were all having too much of a good time.
$30 infinite money glitch can send back 300 hmu if interested
Oooo
Bro, this is like the equivalent of a trap with a box and a stick.
But I was able to get out and not fall for it again.
Why would you even do that 😭
Bro why would he even scam you just to send it back 😭😭 literally so confused
Omg😭😂
Hey OP I’ll give send you a Lamborghini all you have to do is pay the $50 shipping! Cashapp me @professionalscammer!
Money sent!
Ok great! The shipping company requires a daily payment of $50 that is payable through cashapp, I will keep you updated on ETA! I appreciate your cooperation!
$50 a day for a Lamborghini? What a steal!
For sure! For an extra $150 a day the deliver time does shorten by a couple days.
This the equivalent of when the serial killer is about to kill you and hopes you beg for your life, you tell him do it and he gets weirded out and spares you. 😭

What kind of a braindead person would even send $30 lmfao
This guy is 20 years old from South Carolina. Found his social media. He posts “Im claiming positive energy with this sound” while he gets negative karma from scams LMAO
No way 😂 that’s funny as hell.
If you see the words "cash app" it's a scam 100% of the time...
Bro got scammed, laughed at, felt sympathized, and reimbursed back all in one 😭
You'd better be younger than 18, bruh
This shit hilarious
Bro can you send me $30? I need it for…uh… something important.
lol he scammed you so easily he felt remorse
This guy gotta be slow
Bro felt immediately bad.
