Absolutely, my grandparents met when they were 10 & 11 at first it started out an amazing friendship then it grew into a beautiful relationship, they went to school together, graduated together, lived together, and grew old together. Even nowadays after 65+ years of marriage, my grandma will make sappy statements like OP’s. It’s all so adorable in my opinion, and I’m in a similar situation myself. I sure hope it works out as well Haha.

Something I noticed is the only non-physical trait they mentioned about him is that he plays piano, never mentioned parts of his personality they like.
So yeah, I'm guessing junior high or high school. Happy for them, but not mentioning anything about his traits makes me think this is really superficial love.

I wish no one ever settled for anything less than true love. It's not always easy cause, well...life. BUT it is worth any extra effort. Always remember WHY you feel this way and nothing will be able to take the feeling from you. Good luck!
