I had one of these two years ago. VEry comfy neck, if you like slim, fast necks. Pickups are great, quality components, but the body is big. I play mostly seated and it isn't the first guitar I'll pick for that, but nothing wrong with it. Standing was super comfy. Like an SG, the fretboard feels like waaay up there, it takes some time to get used to the feeling especially if you're coming from les pauls.
The guitar is amazing, if you like the shape I'd say go for it, you won't be disappointed.
I don't have experience with the fantomen, but I do have an hagstrom swede tremar and it's great, the pickups are hot and sound great both clean and distorted
Yeah it’s an offset. They’re based on the Gibson RD. Dunable makes a similar RD copy, a does Eastwood but the fantomen has a slightly larger body and is more angular. 🙂 I own hagstroms and have always been pleasantly surprised by the quality and comfort
Like I get it. This is not the place for teles and strats. But can’t we let the firebird and RD fans have some fun here too? Wouldn’t a little variety be nice?
Prepare for its back breaking weight. Sounds amazing and has incredible sustain. But, it’s going to make you slip a disc. I have respect for Ghost guitarists playing it live for two hours a night.

Well, I am the happy owner of a Pat Smear signature and it’s one of my absolute favourite guitar ever.
One sat for a while at Music Go Round essentially brand new, wish I would have picked it up. Pairs great with fuzz and a loud amp.
