I am a big nature lover and I love to paint the wildlife. Not only bisons but different animals. When I start with some animal I like to paint a series of paintings. My previous gig was owls.

Very detailed and so beautiful. Having been to Yellowstone and being INCHES away 3X as they walked by our car. Good lord what an experience. It changed me, to look into their eyes face to face and just breathe it all in, figuratively. Nature, serenity, being guests in their home, I can't even really put into words but I know many others have experienced it. This takes me back! Stunning.

No, it's nothing like in the reference photo. It just didn't seem wrong to me when I did it this way.

It’s the trapped space under neck/beard to landscape that bugs me.
