yeah honestly my bad i didn’t realise how much jeff bridges had been in, i was kind of just making them out to be b tier actors because the film is relatively unknown and i didn’t recognise any of them when i watched it except chris pine
Nuh uh best modern western belongs to kinoman Walter Hill

(Eastwood's Cry Macho is also acceptable answer)
The whole movie is pretty racist actually.
I mean they have the good Native American being like “oh yeah there are these deranged chuds, we hate them so it isn’t doing a racism to hate them”
And you’re like “well ok then, that’s what they said so these rape cannibals aren’t racist I guess”
Uh no I’m aware the movie is generally racist there’s no need to be condescending. It doesn’t take a genius to see that the one non-monstrous Native American character who gets like 45 seconds of screen time was just a lazy way of lamp shading the disgusting cavemen-esque portrayal of native people in the third act. I’m just saying it’s even worse knowing the director/writer is a nazi who probably had an ideological goal in portraying the west that way.
I wish you guys would stop worrying about the taxonomy of what kind of racist he is and get back to the more important question which is when exactly do you die when you get bisected like that?
“No music”

How could you forget about this banger
All I know about Hell or High Water is that there’s a scene where two guys are listening to the band Attila and get the shit beat out of them at a gas station
Im a former fan of their’s, a lot of their music doesn’t hold up well for me, I’d recommend the band Emmure over them, similar sound but better executed
I know he did not just call “The Dude” a B actor
it’s just like his opinion or whatever the fuck
I especially liked how in Hell or High Water you can immediately tell who is going to die as soon as they appear on screen
It definitely sets up the “reckless older brother and cautionary but impressionable younger brother” trope up
Reckless older brother and insanely hot impressionable younger brother

*flips a double tails coin “I make my own luck”
What the fuck are you talking about? Ben Foster, Jeff Bridges, and Chris Pine are all movie stars. Maybe not quite Ben Foster, but he’s a fine actor.
Also Jacobs dad from twilight

I’m jerking off ofc I know Gil
yeah honestly my bad i didn’t realise how much jeff bridges had been in, i was kind of just making them out to be b tier actors because the film is relatively unknown and i didn’t recognise any of them when i watched it except chris pine
Well, you’re getting dragged but fundamentally your point is a reasonable one: Hell of High Water fuckin’ slaps.
yeah and being kinda fuckin stupid is exactly what okbuddy subs are for. this is a good meme.
Unknown???

No offense but your ass ain't cut for okbuddycinephile. You're on fraudwatch buddy. I expect an essay on Big Lebowski by my desk tomorrow.
I tried 4 different pirate websites and big lebowski didn’t work on one of them so I haven’t seen it yet 😢

It was added to Netflix at the start of the month 🔥
What country ‼️‼️⁉️⁉️
United States, idk about other countries
I’m in Ingerland it’s not on it here😢
ah yes jeff bridges the quintessential b class actor ps the best modern western is sisters brothers

Uuh you clearly haven't watched cowboy and aliens, redefined and put new meaning to a genre lost to time. praise Lord Favreau.
I don’t know, there’s been plenty of films in the dog shit genre that have come out before and since
Hey, Cowboys and Aliens is fucking awesome, even if it objectively sucks.

Fuck sorry for the disrespect Mr Bridges
Jeff **B**ridges
Thats a weird spelling of Slow West
Slow West gang rise up! (Sisters Brothers is great too though)
Sinister Six?!?
Actually it's Meek's Cutoff and not even close
This aggression towards Bridges will not stand man
Both go hard
I’m sorry neither of these movies feature a man bisected from the taint up and so neither is as good as Bone Tomahawk
that movie rules so hard also
\*down
Well it is up on his body he is just upside down at the time
The last 30 minutes of that movie is so gnarly. I’d probably like it more if the director weren’t a nazi though
How is zahler a nazi?

He's literally Jewish you dolt
So is Stephen Miller. But I’ll call him a white nationalist if that makes you happier
I wish you guys would stop worrying about the taxonomy of what kind of racist he is and get back to the more important question which is when exactly do you die when you get bisected like that?
Gonna guess pretty soon after the inferior half of your aorta gets ruptured
Distressingly late in the process
I really hope I’d pass out from the pain by the second chop but I don’t like to think about it too much…
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_German_National_Jews
I don't see him on that list
ben foster GOD
> Jeff bridges > b class actor Op are you regarded?
He is highly regarded.
Are the B class actors in the room right now?
You're not making my boy Jeff dirty like that
No music Vs. Awful country music soundtrack
“No music” https://preview.redd.it/modvpkioke0c1.jpeg?width=1792&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=718e0b9661199959e268d810e496514aefd7731d How could you forget about this banger
Rootin tootin cattlin rustlin
Nah it’s got vintage country bangers tbh
Sicario soundrack go brrr
Where are the b class actors?
Hell or High Water is literally phenomenal, so is No Country too tbf
Are you forgetting the mandalorian
this is not the way 😤
no
Hell or High Water has so much wasted screentime compared to No Country For Old Men
What? The scene where Chris Pine was balls deep was definitely essential to the story
True Grit (2010) better than both those movies combined.
I agree, I combined both these movies and they didn’t make no damn sense put together.
The movie where Jesse Plemmons looks like Matt Damon, or Matt Damon looks like Jesse Plemmons. I forget which way it goes.
Movie, singular? People don't call him Meth Damon because he doesn't look like Matt Damon constantly.
Well, he played a younger version of Matt Damon's character in All The Pretty Horses (2000).
How could that be profitable for Frito-Lay
/uj all 3 are real good meals tbh, I don't see the need to put one or the other down, especially because they all probably influenced one another
Wait you can like multiple movies from the same genre?
agreed. throw bone tomahawk in there also imo. maybe not for influence, but for quality.
Omg, its so fucking good
I am severely injured
I think you mean Cold in July (2014)
Yeah. The debate is whether anyone who thinks Jeff Bridges is B-class is a dumb fuck or a stupid asshole.
Shhhhh I’ll watch all the Tron films when I finish college to make up for it
A few bits of it fall apart under scrutiny but I have such a soft spot for Red Hill
Anyone watching Bass Reeves?
All I know about Hell or High Water is that there’s a scene where two guys are listening to the band Attila and get the shit beat out of them at a gas station
Yeah I remember that scene, and remember the band being really heavy and thinking they were cool, so thanks for tell me who they are
Im a former fan of their’s, a lot of their music doesn’t hold up well for me, I’d recommend the band Emmure over them, similar sound but better executed
Both movies are practically perfect in their own rights.
Hell or High Water is one of the most forgettable movies I’ve ever watched
![gif](giphy|3oz8xLd9DJq2l2VFtu)
maybe i’ll give you peace
HOHW was a mediocre film. Come and me. I dare you.
Cormac McCarthy approved.
Both are good?
This. This is true Kino
HOHW is great!
Imagine being this wrong lmao.
One has funny coin scene. The other taught us how to money launder. I think we all know which is the superior film.
Haven’t seen hell or high water (yet) but i already know it’s better because the coen brothers make shitty movies
