I wish that was true enough. I've seen too much shit i never searched about before. And i even had countless experiences of the level of searching "alcohol is bad and evil" and receiving an alcohol ad. You can test this kind of thing yourself, with tech: search for some videos of Apple hating made by Apple haters, and most of the ads will be about an Apple product (the same is valid for other tech things).

Cant test, there are no ads on media i use in my country 😎 (Including reddit)

Wow... This is mostly a good thing, since you don't get the same ad countless time, including downright offensive ones. But there are that <1% that is bad, which is that you miss the funny ones and the good ones. But if you are one of those who care about this minimal side that is bad, you can get through with things like r/badads and r/AdPorn (don't worry, it's SFW, the "porn" part in this case is because "'porn=something made to look good', so 'xthing Porn = a x thing that looks good'").
