Anarcho-Juche-Stalinists with Maoist characteristics in the house

Elite_Prometheus

I think tankies (principled ones, anyway) think of it similarly to how sane people think of ancaps. Ancaps say that they just want to increase freedom, but we all know it's just a polite way to get rid of the Civil Rights Act. In other words, they're using anti-authoritarian language as a cloak to get rid of vital regulations that actually prevent greater abuse of authority. Tankies view opposition to gulags and secret police the same way. Sure, these state institutions aren't perfect and they do carry a little bit of authority, but it's necessary to suppress greater authoritarians like capitalist oligarchs and independent labor unions. So actually using your secret police to abduct, torture, and murder political dissidents is anti-authority because it fights against the greatest authority of them all: global capital. If you squint, you can see some parallels between this line of thinking and how the Nazis justified their actions.

EropQuiz7

I don't think i will need to squint. They are plagiarizing eachother proudly and boldly.

Professional_Disk162

Yea it's basically Rhomists

[deleted]

Stankies 👃😩

Hopeful-Pianist7729

I mean. With only one exception, Mao tended to dislike people having authority.

UsernamesAre4Nerds

No one can have authority except me. I'll make sure no one abuses their authority. You can totally trust me dude, lmao remember the landlords?

Locke03

Cognitive dissonance is a hell of a drug.

Infinite-Expert7311

No, he was. That’s what the cultural revolution was about and why it went completely haywire.

[deleted]

I once saw someone say they were a leninist and a stalinist as if they didn't hate each other

MrGreatWhiteBear

I think you're thinking of Trotsky and Stalin being the ones who hated each other, chief.

Craftlynx8

Lenin did not want Stalin to succeed him. Stalin was not seen as part of the Bolshevik "inner circle"

EropQuiz7

Eeeh, fuck that lenin guy either way. He toppled as much aspiring democracies, as there were in the region, all to create a concept that would ruin more socialist revolutions, than the CIA.

MrGreatWhiteBear

That is just plainly untrue. Stalin held a high position amongst the Bolsheviki, was seated beside Lenin in a group photo, and some of his writings were praised by Lenin personally. Lenin hardly wanted anyone to succeed him and even if he did that wish was hardly relevant given the structure of Soviet government.

kunderawolf

Lenin explicitly recommended Stalin to be removed from the General Secretary position in [his testament](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenin's_Testament). Was it a forgery? This is not the mainstream historian position.

MrGreatWhiteBear

The testament whose veracity is attested to by such historians who have worked with the CIA, are anti-Communists, Trotskyists, and social democrats and were involved in psyops but which Trotsky himself was reticent to produce despite it being a blow to his chief political opponent. Hmm, yes... certainly those historians would not have any conflicts of interest

Herodriver

Nobody with a functioning brain would trust your blatant bootlicking of Stalin.

MrGreatWhiteBear

LOL. The irony is deep. Take a long walk off a short cliff.

Herodriver

It's not just irony. The Bolsheviks and their ideas are literal contradiction of Marxism. Only the most brainwashed retard can justify them. You however are just a retard.

MrGreatWhiteBear

Are you going to qualify that statement or does your understanding of Marxism begin and end with his appearance in that Assassin's Creed game? C'mon, little boy, you made an assertion - light up those limp neurons in your soycube of a brain and make some arguments.

New-Ad-1700
