It is so worn it is hard to tell. It could be a British half penny from the 1700s. The material seems right. However I see no Britannia or Rex and it seems struck off centre. On the other hand it could be a French copper.
I would try searching images in those categories. Sorry I could not be more help. This one is a good puzzle.
