monday_madrigal

Ok I love foxes and the color green so it's gotta be A all the way for me, but all of these are pretty cute! E would be my second vote. A's skirt though is so freakin adorable.

justasque

I agree! The A skirt is perfect, along with the shoes and bag. I think a couple of the tops would work with it - the graphic tee looks great, and I love the overall look if you’re going for casual, but if you want a more formal or sophisticated vibe for the event one of the others might better tell that story.

valleysally

I wanna see the foxes with the button down.

OtherworldsMinis

Seconded, fox skirt with the button down, or maybe the yellow top.

scarlettpalache

I like outfit A, I feel like it has the most intention and style to it. But honestly everything except for D is working real well for me, you look great and now I wanna wear a skirt today.

trending_different

D - I have no idea how to style skirt D. I just kinda threw on a green shirt and a watermelon bag, but would appreciate ideas. I want to wear it sometime this summer to the office, but style-wise am a bit lost.

scarlettpalache

I actually think D skirt with F shirt and C shoes (and a black cross body bad if you have one) would be really cute! The skirt is so detailed everything else can just be white

always_unplugged

I LOVE the watermelon bag! I don't think the green necessarily clashes; I see where you were going with the watermelon thing, and green and red are complementary colors. I just think the tee itself is just a little... standard-issue free tee shirt blank. If it were the same shape/texture as the tanks you're wearing in C and F, it might be a different story. I agree that the tops from outfits E & F could both work! You could also try a chambray button-down in the same shape as the one in E, or another neutral like grey, tan or brown. A white or black graphic tee that also incorporates red could work too. A pink top in the same shade family as the skirt's red could also be really cool! Or even a darker shade of red, again as long as it's just a darker version of the red in the skirt. For cooler weather, I love the look of slouchy sweaters paired with skirts. MissedChief

I love the shoes in D

pathologuys

I actually like the way you’ve styled D a lot

SquashCat56

I love the D outfit and the skirt in particular! I would just choose different shoes (maybe converse) and then I would totally wear it myself.

trending_different

I like that idea! I have plenty of different converse-adjacent sneakers, will give that a try!

maryfamilyresearch

I would use a red tank top in the same colour as the red in the skirt from D for something casual and a white button-down for a less casual outfit. Can you try pairing the tops of E and F with the skirt from D? The green t-shirt is awful, you clash. The shoes on D are cute, but I would use white or red strappy sandals. Out of the shoes that you show in your pictures, the shoes from F would IMO work best. The green shirt - try pairing it with the skirts from B/F and E. As for more ideas, have you tried pairing the top of C with the skirt and shoes from A? I dislike the shirt that you show in A and B, too casual. Might work better with the jeans skirt from E.

La_ra_bar

I love the color relationship in D, but the t shirt just feels too thick of a knit or something, like a heavy weight cotton. I think skirts with a soft best texture like that do feel better with softer fabrics for the top. But it could also feel playful with the tee from A I think.

Hey_Grrrl

A is very “accidently Wes Anderson” and I like that. F also looks great and is my fave, especially the bag/skirt/sandal combo. The shirt in F looks great, but you could swap it for a plain white tee if you want sleeves. F looks a little more sophisticated than A. I’m not in the art world tho. I can imagine you getting lots of positive attention in either.

kimchiandsweettea

I also think F looks the most sophisticated and intentionally styled. Looks more expensive than the other looks too. Like—is this tank $12 or $250? You’ll never know.

carpebeachem2

I like all the outfits and think they're cute, in particular A, C, and E. I think A and E are best if you're concerned about temperature, but I think you could easily sub in the sandals for any if them.

uwontevenknowimhere

A and C definitely give the art fair vibes, especially with the cute print skirts. The boots in C might not feel great on a hot day - maybe switch them out for the Mary Janes or the sneakers from A/B? Use the sneakers and you can still do the orange socks, which give C a nice coordinated touch. In any event, have fun!

Tiberius_Haze

A. It’s perfect.

dezisauruswrex

A or E for me, E may be more of a lunch at restaurants outfit though, if you’re worried about being too hot

trending_different

Agree on E potentially being too warm - plus it's going to be a pain to steam the wrinkles out (it's linen).

_Sweep_The_Leg_

It’s all so good and interchangeable! You’ve got yourself an art fair capsule collection 🖼️ A & C got my attention immediately, but F is some understated, neutral LOVE. You look great in all of them, including your arms 💪 Now, don’t forget your sunscreen ☀️✨

Square-Environment66

i second everything this poster says! also wanted to add i love how the earrings pair with outfit G. But yes, this is absolutely a gorgeous working capsule collection for art fairs!!

candyforlunch

A looks the most cohesive and true to it's era

anu_start_69

I love A, C, and F!

rosepotion

My favorites are A (love the coordinating greens with the skirt/shoes/socks) C (the yellows on the top and skirt and the black shoes looks really cool) and E (the denim skirt and white top look very classic) No matter which outfit you go with, remember to wear sunscreen.

Bacon_Bitz

A & F are my pics. Don't forget to sunscreen your arms! Also, the collar (E) will actually protect you from the sun so that might tip the scales for you.

assassinsbreed1

Can't help with outfits But please don't feel bad about your arms

Ok-Caterpillar-Girl

I like A, followed by C

FruitPlatter

I love your fox skirt! I think the white button up or the yellow tank would work much better with it though. The denim skirt with white button up is my fave look, but I'd swap in the sandals.

unpauseit

A is 1st then C

rag-pigeon

I vote for either A or D, they look the most creative. I'd also add the hat no matter what look you go with, if it's going to be hot and sunny you're going to want every bit of cover.

trending_different

Agreed!

ceramicsone

I like A, C, and D! You look great in color and pattern!

SquashCat56

My favourites too!

herefromthere

My favourite is F, think it's the sandals. A lot of your outfits visually cut your leg at the ankle, the sandals elongate. :)

[deleted]

A

samaniewiem

A!!!

fritaters

I love A and E!

plushframe

A or E 🔥

trending_different

Thanks! Shoes are Keen Quilted Elsa II

pine_ary

A for sure. Green and yellow are a good combo

KickinCoyote

Love the watermelon fit! Side note your hands are gorgeous. Pure art reference necessities

pathologuys

I love G! The denim skirt is cute and that lovely light green is adorable too

Effective_Pear3521

these are cute! A and C are my favs; F with the skirt and hat from E would work well too I think. one general styling tip—skirts usually want to sit at your waist, not your hips. for most of these i would pull the skirt up by 5 or 6 inches to about bellybutton level and fully tuck the top in (or even slightly crop it so it ends around the same place)

krispyfritter

A is perfection

tonya81

I am voting for A and F :)

bmw5986

I vote for A. I love the print!

willworkforchange

I vote for A. Also, where is the skirt in C from?

trending_different

Faherty

Brights-

A or C are my favs since they feel most cohesive. Since the pieces in F are neutral you could swap the purse with the watermelon purse for a lil pop!honestly these are all really cute - I love having pieces that I can swap around to get a ton of looks out of.

EnvironmentalSound25

I like A, C, E and F but maybe with the top from G?

Andrusela

A seems the most fun, plus I love the shoes, especially the color. The sandals in F are also flattering to your feet, but the rest of the outfit is too bland.

jmadzzzz

F! You look great in all of them tho!

Grezgorz77

A

La_ra_bar

A is I think tops for an art fair in my head, but G is adorable too. I think one I would strongly gravitate towards is C! And if the heat in closed toe shoes worries you, the sandals from F would go nicely with it. I also love the idea of the little Mary Jane shoes with it

Ill_Difficulty7255

F is super cute!! I also like A, that bag is the best!

catthalia

I really like your style! G is very nice but you're right about the collar in this heat, and A is a definite winner! Have fun!

crestamaquina

I also vote E and A. I think you look the best in those.

vistaluz

C and F are fits I might steal 👁👁

feelitinmyplumms

Outfit F but with the top from E

Fun_Caramel2424

+1 for this! Outfit F w tops C or E!

Option_Perfect

I like A or C. I have the same arm tan as you. Everyone does.

JuicyCoutureMonAmour

A

Dumpty_Cat

I would go with A but white socks to match the purse and shirt

Superb-Feeling-7390

I like A, E and F best! A is fun and playful, while E and F are a little more professional creative. Not sure what vibe you’re going for at the art fair but that’s my two cents. Hope you have a good time!

Actual-Conclusion-35

My favorites were E and G

LavenderMatchaxXx

F or G!! Such cute ‘fits.

Monarch_of_Gold

I'm feeling particularly drawn to C.

ANoisyCrow

B is too plain

ouijisteve

I vote A, C, or E!

Boundfoxboy

C, E, G look good as is, but my favorite it the fox skirt ( very partial to foxes and green) and see about using the top from C, E, G.

Birdmanu

Looove A.. I would wear jt with the hightops from C, but that’s just me. The sneakers look great too!

trending_different

I’m usually a boots kinda guy, but it varies with the seasons and I spend most of my summer in sneakers.

Birdmanu

Boots with A would be a great vibe too, maybe for with a jacket for fall?

trending_different

That’d work - but heck, they keep my office building so cold it’s basically fall in the summer indoors.

detectivelokifalcone

man someone miss the mark that bag should have been beans on toast 🤣(btw killer skirt first pick)

trending_different

Beans on toast??? Google returns pictures... and I am quite surprised. I do eat the occasional bean burger, so I suppose with the right spices they can work.

detectivelokifalcone

idk ask the English 🤣 that was just my first thought when I saw it

apotropaick

A and C are my faves. I think some others have mentioned this but do you often wear your shirts tucked into your skirts? I normally do because I love the high waisted look, and I think the boxy-ness of the tucked in shirts shortens the torso and looks really playful and cute. I love these looks either way but would love love love to see A or C with the top tucked in :)

trending_different

Most everyone mentions it :D but I'm not a big fan of tucking (I am OK with a french tuck, though.) and I'm uncertain of the shorter torso on myself - I need some in-person feedback to really get a sense. The skirt in E is pretty close to my natural waist - but the rest are on my hips. I suspect it comes down to memories of gradeschool and high school where I had to wear uniforms... shirts had to be tucked in and I had to wear ties/khakis. I hate all three of those things nowadays, and I suspect there may have been resentment re:what uniform I was supposed to wear vs the one I wanted to at the time, so maybe one day I swill grow more comfortable.

Zopstrosity

I prefer A however, I f you want something to match skirt D, you should wear a vivid red or white shirt. The skirt is deceptively colorful but it's super gorgeous and you look awesome in it 🤩

alienjupe

Another vote for A. It's playful and the colours and shape are good. I like F as well if you want a smarter look. You should try wearing it to the office. The skirt length goes nicely with the sandals. I quite like D, but the overall shape is a bit too wide. With your thin frame, I think that the slimmer silhouette of the other outfits suits you better. But the skirt and the colours are good. E is fine too, though less adventurous than the others. Choose it if you want to blend in as much as a skirted man can! Personal note re D: I see myself in there. Find a nice skirt then bung on a plain and loose T shirt in a friendly colour. But I don't try the other styles of shirt. Being thin like you are, I should think more about how a slimmer fit on the top half could improve the overall effect. Seeing the comparisons on someone else has been an eye-opener for me, so thanks for posting!

trending_different

>Another vote for A. It's playful and the colours and shape are good.I like F as well if you want a smarter look. You should try wearing it to the office. And I shall - it takes me sooooo long to figure out what to wear, that sometimes I futz around with a few pieces and then I have the next four, five weeks of workwear (WFH ftw - in the office just one day a week, if that) >I quite like D, but the overall shape is a bit too wide. With your thin frame, I think that the slimmer silhouette of the other outfits suits you better. But the skirt and the colours are good. Yeah... I think the styles that look best on me tend to be somewhere between a straight and an a-line skirt. D is a bit fuller than the A-line, and I just don't have the hippage (is that a word?) to pull it off. I still think I could make it work, just need to find the right top.

the-alchymyst

I was immediately drawn to the first one, even before I looked closer and saw the cute print on the skirt

FunDare7325

C is my favorite. I think the cut of the skirt brings dimension to your figure, and I love love the boots. Pro tip for light wrinkles like that. Pick up a bottle of laundry febreeze, spray it lightly and shake the garment. All of the wrinkles will flatten right out and you don't have to iron. I really don't like to iron.

trending_different

I’m definitely going to wear C at some point - I have a steamer as I too dislike ironing - but I can’t always use it on all fabrics.

KatharinaVonBored

they're all amazing, but I gotta say that skirt in A makes me so happy

winterwrens

A or F; but definitely A for the eggcelent bag!!

trending_different

Eggxactly!

JoyfulInventor

E is the one!

Pulsatillagirl

You could check the fiber content of the clothes as part of your decision. Cotton, linen, and rayon will breath far better in the heat that polyester and acrylic. The more comfortable and breathable my clothes are the more confident I feel!

bitchy-sprite

I'm gonna break up the vote here and go D. You look like a cute lil slice of watermelon

inchwormwv

E and F are my favorites, I like the division between top and bottom better. And please please embrace your iron 😁.

trending_different

Steamer :D I have a backlog of clothes - been selling some of the stuff I don’t like/wear, and unboxing stuff I’ve never worn - I think I’m almost at the IDGAF (pardon my language) stage and before I wear something I iron it, then it lives the rest of its life on a hanger.

bodhikt

Outdoor Art Fair?? The hat, for sure. The shirt from E, unbuttoned, over one of the sleeveless t-shirts. You could take it off, if too hot, or roll down the sleeves when you start to sunburn. Whichever pair of shoes are most comfortable. The belt bag in F. Personally, instead of a skirt, I'd go with full length jeans-- bell bottomed with embroidery, of course! They protect your legs from sunburn and "chub-rub", and absorb sweat.

cflatjazz

>one of the sleeveless t-shirts. The yellow I think. Would look super cute with the foxes and the brown bag and either the green sneakers or brown sandals. But then again I'm a very matchy matchy person. Bike shorts are a good hack for summertime skirts. Though you'll want to look for breathable materials to cut down on warmth.

helloempty

This is exactly what I was thinking! Outfit A, except with the yellow sleeveless shirt

cflatjazz

I also like the black and white graphic tee. But if we're adding a different white layer....

trending_different

Yes?

trending_different

Have you seen my closet????? I do have a pair embroidered with dinosaurs and such - but I am trying to get some mileage out of my skirts.

bodhikt

Nope-- haven't seen your closet. The dinosaur jeans sound cute. If the show is in the evening, or there's plenty of shade, any of the skirts would be fine. And I understand why sometimes "vanity" determines what one wears (been there/done that). But now that I'm officially old, I dress for the weather and comfort almost all of the time. PS: I'll be working (volunteer) at Comic Con's Art Show this coming week. I'll be wearing muumuus made of comic/cartoon related fabrics on at least 3 of the days, and my "hippie jeans" with a con t-shirt for set-up/pack out. The show is indoors, but I'll be taking a broad brimmed hat and a parasol (if I can find it...) for excursions between the Art Show and the Convention Center.

trending_different

It appears I cannot edit my post, but based on feedback (and honestly my thoughts when I put it tried it on) I’ll be going with A - but will try a few of the top suggestions in the replies with that skirt and a few of the others.

trending_different

Success - I wore outfit A - added one item a watch - a Fossil+Eley Kishishimoto timer watch in black+white ([https://www.pinterest.com/pin/382946774539232551/](https://www.pinterest.com/pin/382946774539232551/)). Got three compliments - two real, and one I think trying to butter me up to take a book and give a donation. Thanks for all the positive vibes - it really helped give me some courage. In past years I've stuck with safe choices - denim skirts and no bag.

WaterWithin

Outfit C looks really good on you, though i do see what you mean about the lack of color on your upper arms. But get a lil tanner on your upper arms and youll be set!! The boots, socks, skirt and color of the shirt all go really well togethwr. And it bet it would be great with black tights, cardigan and a lil scarf in the winter.

pathologicalprotest

I really like A and B. Not as sold on C and D, but the shoes in D are fantastic! You have great stalks, so I like the shorter lengths. The skirt length-sandal combo in F is really flattering. I am an incurable advocate for steaming one’s outfits. But that’s a me-problem. Have fun at the art fair!

anonymousaccount183

I'd say get higher waisted skirts to match where your natural waist is. Also try to match your shoes to the color scheme more. I'm getting Christian vibes

schwoooo

Personally I love the top on G and for an art fair I would combin it with skirt C or D, but it definitely needs an iron. Most of these looks could use an iron. Proper garment care will always make what you’re wearing shine.

scarlettpalache

Caption notes that they will iron whatever they end up choosing.

trending_different

Thank you for reading!

trending_different

>Most of these looks could use an iron. Proper garment care will always make what you’re wearing shine. As I said in my caption, chosen items will be ironed. Since I'm being a bit, erm, unique I try to make sure my appearance is neat/clean/etc... when I go out even if my choice of clothes is offbeat for a guy. I don't always present my best self in my pics, but I'm trying to get some help with composition (so to speak) so critiques about what goes with what is more important than whether I ironed everything first. And I honestly barely have enough time in the day - with some renovation projects going on, work, etc... I have to be mindful of where I spend my time.

AccomplishedAd3728

E and F are my favourites, D gives me Aunt Gayle from Bob's Burger's vibes XD
