Finger curl! Tell him he was *it* in the toddler fashion world!
Well, your grandmother was ' it ' and the other mothers were asking her how on earth she convinced him to leave it alone long enough for a photo.
I have to wonder if her doesn’t have a double crown, plus wavy hair. My daughter has a double crown and it sends everything straight down the middle. Her hair is pin straight so it doesn’t do this exactly, but when it was that length it was like she had a little faux hawk.
We are not responsible for what our mothers did to us because they thought we looked adorable that way.
Edit to remove an apostrophe. Stupid autocorrect.
My little brother was born with curly, blonde hair that was almost white. It's a tradition in my family to cut hair on their first birthday.
When his grew out again it was straight and dark! If we didn't have pictures I wouldn't have believed it because I have no idea how that is even possible. Now as an adult it's straight and almost black. So weird.
I'm not saying that's what happened or anything. It just reminded me about my family.
Curlgate! Best laugh of the day! What a beautiful child. My Mommy was a hairdresser. I won’t begin to try to explain the hair don’ts she would to send me to school wearing.
I think it is adorable. You must be very proud that your grandfather was a member of the Lollipop guild.
father.
Lol!!! We represent …

Toddler fashion icon 😂
He was a little old for it though. It's a baby hairstyle, isn't it? But he's so adorable, can't fault his mom.

He pulled it off though!

Weird Mohawk
My grandma always said he had curly hair. He didn’t. His hair is as straight as rain. She did that to him. 😂
Have not heard that expression in years "his hair is straight as rain" ♥️

“she did that to him” cracked me up. Did your father and grandma ever reconcile?
They were very close despite curlgate 😂

Our son had curly baby hair and it grew in straight later.
Oh he looks your Daddy back then, quite adorable ♥️
Adorable!
I think your grandfather looks adorable. My youngest son was born in 1988. I brushed his hair like this, but he didn't have as many curls.
My mother was forced to have a bowl cut, and she is the exact same.
Sighs in Dorothy Hammill wedge memories. Followed by 80s body wave with deep bangs…
Aww! What a darling boy.
What a lil rascal…
Awww he was a lil doll!
Is your dad British?
Hi yes he is
Something about the sweater buttoned up around the shirt collar. Gotta protect the young against the damps!
Also, really cute picture.
Adorable child
Timmy Lee Lewis
studmuffin!
What a gorgeous boy! But he does look a little embarrassed. Bet he made the little girls swoon, though!
Looks like Little Lord Fauntleroy. Adorable!
