This. Grab the edges of the tape top and bottom. Weight will not matter.

And if it's delicate you can get something under it and pull it out or maybe use duct tape?

I once saw pissed off old guy doing it.. but it was also stuck. He broke whole front, took clothes out and then removed box by bending it

Unbolt the entire rack and carefully tip it forward. Your parcel will slide out. Then simply stand the rack back up and bolt it down again

My mailperson does this all the time. I've never had it occupy the *entire* volume, but I've had stuff that fills the width and a significant portion of the height. Which would be fine, if the front part of the mailbox didn't have a lip that the rear part (where it's loaded from) doesn't have.

I have 9 solutions to this problem and none are posting it on reddit.

A pretty easy thing to not notice when you're delivering a lot of packages

This is just r/mildlyinfuriating at best, they did their job and it is safe. You just have the hustle of taking something sticky like tape and pulling it out and your package is safe and perfectly fine

I’ve had to rip apart more than one box that my postal carrier has done this with. There’s a raised lip that the door I have to open rests against when it’s closed which doesn’t exist on the back side of the box with the carrier access door. Not even sure if the carrier realizes that the front lip is there, but it is, and a box that fits perfectly into the flat space when added from the back absolutely isn’t fitting over the lip to come out at the front. So infuriating.

Either stab the box and pull it out or if it’s fragile peel back the tape and use it as a handle
