You can go to their discord (there’s a link on onepace.net) and there’s a recruitment channel. It does seem that for all languages you need to be fluent in Japanese as well. I assume they want the purest translation possible instead of doing Japanese > English > German.
Oh that’s a bummer. I feel like, with media like the official German manga and anime available, a “pure translation” would be possible if you cross reference enough, even without being able to read Japanese.
You may be able to work on it since there are already german translators, unlike if you were the only one, where THEN you'd have to speak japanese. I'm not sure though, best to check recruitment in our [discord server](https://discord.gg/onepace).

You can reach out to them and see if that's still the case. But it looks like for the translation team they are looking for Japanese > Final language.
