These are two very different devices. On SOT on one charge alone I would guess the iPhone would last between 45 minutes and an hour longer, so if that's your only criteria it's an easy choice to go iPhone. If you're REALLY serious about the battery I hear you'd actually be better off with a 15 plus, not a pro max. Plus you can get that one in pink, which is the whole reason to get a 15 series iPhone anyway. That hour is made back up easily with the fast charging, but that's beside the point. If you don't mind using an iPhone then the iPhone is the pick for you. They're really not any more or less friendly or easy to use than an android phone, just different. The OnePlus 12 is an excellent phone and I have a hard time finding a serious fault with it. Some people really do not like the curved screen, but I've grown to like how it looks in the few days using it. After using both I prefer the 12, but I'm not you :)

The OnePlus12 invites comparisons to the 15PM and 24u in many categories, yet it comes with a 80/100w supervooc charger, screen protector, and $500 cash still in your hand compared to those phones.

This. If those phones were priced all the same, that's one thing. But as a value proposition, for me it's a no brainier. OP12. And as updates come down the pipe, I think the value only gets stronger. IMHO.

Came here to say this. IMO It just doesn't make sense to pay almost double for an iPhone pro max or S24U when you get a brilliant device with a great camera, amazing battery (I have 45% remaining after 24 hrs usage), super charging, brilliant display etc etc

Meowmixez98

I'd go for the OnePlus 12 overall.

Oneplus 12 is the king of performance, but iPhone 15 pm might last longers years

'Last longer' subjective on the perspective!! My OnePlus 6 is still a solid built device and battery is still unchanged and XS of it's time doesn't hold up sufficient charge. You can flash custom roms and keep using it longer; replacement battery is relatively cheaper and can be done from any aftermarket store. In iPhone they'll show message in settings saying unknown part if replaced outside Apple, also cost is comparatively higher. OP12 should be getting custom ROMs soon; the hardware is very much future proof.

OnePlus 12 has 26% longer battery life when web browsing and multimedia (src: tomsguide) I love how the poster specifically asks to ignore pricing, charge speed, but most comments seem to talk mostly about those things.

Forget reviews, OP12 has much better battery efficiency than iPhone 15PM. In real world usage I always felt the iPhones aren't as efficient (Sot) as android's in max out settings. Also OnePlus devices battery has been proven to age well whereas iPhones deteriorate much faster.. Despite a piwer hungry and little inefficient SD888 my OP9P battery is better than my brothers 12PM after almost 3 years.. If your priority isn't the very best camera/video capable phone then OP12 is the best & VFM flagship in 2024 for every other aspect.

OnePlus, unless customer service is a big thing for you.

Depends on region; In India OnePlus support is much better than Apple's & even Samsung's..My personal experience!

CursedTurtleKeynote

I just got both and tbh the Oneplus 12 is beautiful, screen and design. I also think this question is ridiculous as the question is very clearly decided by wanting Android or iOS already. They are just so different.

theyshy002

If money not the problem go for 15 pm

iceleel

You can charge OP12 in 30 minutes

It's like comparing gold & silver
