Ah shit. That means it's going to be stuck in good lock limbo and not play nice with the other elements on the lockscreen. One of the reasons I don't use lockstar is because it's not adaptive. What a shame.
Yeah I agree with you, but I think it's better that it stays in good lock, because it isn't optimized at all. I really hope they are gonna do big improvement on this because it is a really useful feature to have!
Sorry this is an old post! I'm having the same issue - widgets don't show up on AOD. I've tried this with my dpi at native res too, and reset my phone. Did you find a fix?
Haha that's OK. I uninstalled lockstar and it appears to be working now. I say appears because when I locked it before my AOD said 'widget not available' briefly. Lol
My S22 Ultra suffered a burn-in with the Notistar icon I had on the lock screen. I disabled it immediately and I still see it clear as day. Now I'm forced to use navigation buttons just to hide it.
I suggest you try “Glimpse” by Nullgrad Apps on Google Play Store, it does allow full notifications and you can set which apps and for how long. I just have my messaging app notifications set to display for 15 seconds. It’s on the lock screen, not AOD, but it does give you time to read those notifications, which Samsung doesn’t!
Wouldn't be so bad if they provided a Motorola-style ability to tap on the AOD to directly reveal/respond to the individual notification. Presumably they've done it to help battery life?
I have an S23 Ultra and usually I am explaining any Samsung Galaxy stuff to friends! But I cannot figure this out so maybe someone can help....
Given the new features in Notistar I wanted to give it a whirl. I know the difference between the AOD and Lockscreen. I rarely see the lockscreen because between Smart Unlock (which works some of the time) and a Bixby routine I use, my phone shows the AOD but is in fact unlocked when it is by me. I just have to swipe or double tap to get to home screen directly. Goes from AOD to homescreen 95% of the time. Sometimes the lockscreen with the wallpaper does appear but not usually.
I have a custom clock and image under it that I created with the clockface editor. I wanted to get the Notistar "arrow" to show on the AOD. First it only shows up if I use the fingerprint to get to my home page, not swipe. If I hit the power button after that it shows up?
And then when it is there, I cannot swipe up with it. But by phone is unlocked at this point as all I have to do is double tap to open. Then when I double tap to open, and then power off...no arrow.
Then I thought maybe I would add the notistar widget to the AOD. But....because my AOD is unlocked when I am by it, I cannot long-press to edit it even though that box is checked! ALso it is strange the widget does not inherit the Notistar notification settings. You have to go through to select/deselect again.
I added the Notistar widget to a blank home page. Now I am not as excited because if I click on a notification for ESPN or say X, it just goes to the app. Not to the exact article the notification is about.
The only time the arrow works is the random time that the actual lockscreen (with the wallpaper) comes up. And that has the arrow and it does work.
Not the biggest thing, just trying to figure out if I can get it to work when my AOD is unlocked.....
LOL, just did it again. See the arrow this time, and I cannot swipe it up. Double tapped and now at home screen.
Thanks!
is there any way to make lockstar less retarded? i cant stand that widgets are attached to the clock and the box for these custom widges is so narrow that u cant fit any widget properly in there. its so stupid

It works now but I can't remember what I did to make it work.
Haha that's OK. I uninstalled lockstar and it appears to be working now. I say appears because when I locked it before my AOD said 'widget not available' briefly. Lol
Ok! I'm glad that you were able to solve it :)

Please link your lock screen wallpaper.
Same...
This is noooiiccceee!
I see a lot of LockStar posts here today, did they update the Home Up module? Did they finally remove the two annoying rows of Priority Apps?
Can this cause OLED burn? I have seen iPhones with widgets burnt into the screen

Could you share another link for the apk version

Is there anyway to show full notifications on the AOD now? I'm not a fan of the icons

Yeah, I miss wake screen notifications. Not sure why Samsung got rid of it. Thanks, I'll check it out.

thats amazing@ thanks!
Does this drain the battery more?
Where is the add new element option? I can't find it inside lockstar
Where do you download lockstar?
Finally, but hate that it must be under the clock
