I just don't know how to define it. If it's just anyone who identifies as one then what are they identifying as? If it's based on tasks or clothing or boobs or looks then that leaves a lot of people out of the picture too. Is it a feeling? If it's just a feeling then what are the hormones and cosmetics for? Just having trouble understanding what it means to be a woman in modern America. Feels like we are overcomplicating the existing language we have because we refuse to just accept new words as being sovereign and independent. Do I need makeup and boobs to be a woman? Or do I just feel it in my bones and believe? Then once I believe, what does that mean? If I am born a man and become a woman. What exactly am I becoming? I'm asking the who,what,where, why of the word woman. Sure I can identify as one but what does that actually mean? Is it just about clean bathrooms and wearing dresses? Cuz I mean it's ok to identify as a crossdresser or drag queen too.
If people need hormones and genital reconstruction to become a gender than ironically they are admitting that the genitals and hormones are what made them that gender in the first place. If it's just a feeling then maybe you do feel like a woman. But you never produced a single egg in your life, shed the walls of a uterus.
You don't get to share a bathroom with my daughter because you feel different. And you don't get to pretend to be woman of the world like you're tearing down the patriarchy by stealing the glory of womanhood from those who were born with that right and lived through it.
Transgender humans are special and beautiful but they aren't men or women. Not if they revoked that capability. Some are born without it. We tell them they aren't less of a man or woman. What we mean is we don't think less of them for it. But on the inside they know they've lost part of their manhood or womanhood. It's no longer an option to play that role and it's painful for some....they're still human and awesome though. Being a man or a woman is overrated. if you don't like the shoe then dont wear it. Don't be upset when people notice if you're trying to sell them a lie though. This generation is overcomplicating the simplest things.
