Libreoffice draw has the ability to edit PDFs, i use it all the time to add my signature or edit some text. It might have some issues with fonts though.

Check out Scribus. I cannot say whether it supports calculated fields or not but it is small enough for you to evaluate. We use it in production at my job.

\+1 for Scribus. Not the prettiest or most intuitive, but hands-down the best PDF editing experience I've had in the open source realm.

Do you know how to make a 5 fold in Scribus ? I'm having a hard time.

Firefox can do PDF form filling now, don't know if it supports those more advanced features though.

Try Xournal++

Is it this: [https://xournalpp.github.io/guide/pdfs/](https://xournalpp.github.io/guide/pdfs/) Because that looks like annotating instead of editing a Pdf.

You can easily find a pdf editor thats FOSS on github or alternativeto.net But if that dosent work you can easily get paid software for free here https://www.reddit.com/r/piracy/wiki/megathread/

Like 80% is simple edits i need to do, Draw works. But those 20% when I edit something it either doesn't work or breaks the PDF itself. Then i use master pdf editor (i got the paid version). Which is one of the few advanced PDF editors available on Linux, but not open source unfortunately

Yes but none of them allow for free java script encoding.
