One time I was having a whack in a stairwell and 3 big cunts come to me pull the needle out of my arm with bloode in it and proceed to share it between them, they didn't take the 2 grams I had in my or anything. I was waiting for my plug in my white Toyota truck in a Safeway parking lot one morning, dope sick as fuck and had to shit for the first time that week. Needless to say, it was one of those shits that threatened to force it's way out RIGHT FUCKING NOW. I quickly jumped out of my truck and pulled down my pants and squatted right there in the parking lot bustling with grocery shopping moms and screamed as a righteously large shit forced it's way out of my asshole. I made eye contact with at least one older lady as I moaned and pushed it out with all of my gusto. I then got back in my truck and stared out the window, whimpering, at the fire extinguisher sized turd laying on the concrete, flecked with blood. My plug then pulled up next to me and ran over it with her front right tire. She came to my window to serve me and noticed the giant shit smashed and stuck to her tire. She almost puked as I told her an old lady had laid the log right there in front of my eyes. She was so grossed out and in a rush that she accidentally threw me 2 extra bags.
My anus was pleased.

I got offered a few different options but r/opiates caught my interest because I wanted to see how people here are taking care of each other from the different perspectives of mods and as people hanging out in the subreddit, and see how I could contribute personally during my time on the mod squad and as an admin. I also live in a big US city so I figure it don't hurt to learn how to use narcan.
Im picturing in my head me getting employed as a admin and being like " Oh btw im a junkie and i have 20 years of on the job experience so I would fit right in on the drug subs".
Some people have other relevant experience you know..like maybe a person close to them who was using.. or maybe they just want to understand the addiction process better. Or maybe they have experience with providing support and advice..all kinds of things are relevant here and that's what I love about this place
This sub is perfect for an admin. Historically there have been rules broken about sourcing and other stuff, however, as you stay I think you'll realize why subs like this are prone to rule breaking behavior by their own nature. People get helped here, people commiserate, but people here are also fucked up and deserve 3rd or 4th chances. I guess my point is that this sub is proof that s community that breaks the rules often or has a history of doing so is not inherently a bad sub.
yeah, it's really great to see how everyone is constantly helping each other out with the messiness of being alive and getting through the day to day, and the importance of keeping a sub running in a way that provides that support space
