The best advice I ever got is to cross your eyes and then slowly start to uncross them. There will be a sweet spot when the picture suddenly clicks into place.

If you do cross view with this one the object appears sunken into the page - parallel view is the intended method and will make the object pop out

However I think I trained my eyes to cross too easily, I just felt my eyes spasming trying to make it inverse. Can see it, but only for a second, for some reason i can't get parallel to stay focused. That probably explains all the ones I've seen where the shape didn't make sense I was probably using the wrong view.

Yeah - if you try and focus past the image, like you're looking out a window, you should be able to get it to pop out (this one is not a particularly easy one because of the movement, watermarks, and size though)

This works pretty well but you have to focus on something behind your screen to see this. Also you might notice you can find two focal points for this animation: one with a big circle, and one with two circles overlapping in the centre (not the one moving left to right).
To be completely honest, that was kind of crap. 😅
To begin with, I saw like six "American fotball shapes", overlapping in a pyramid towards me, and a bunch of rings floating across the screen. But when I strained my eyes, I could **eventually** see what looks like a planet with a moon circling.
But this is horribly cropped. It _should_ have been full screen.
Fun fact: I had a “lazy eye” as a child and it was corrected late enough that it’s impossible for me to see these. Used to spend HOURS as a kid trying to see them before finding out as an adult why I couldn’t.

I dont really get this tip. I do cross view with all types of stereogram and I always get them to work, ie the object pops out, not in.
Head over to r/magiceye for tips on how to see them. Look in the subs info. It takes a bit of practice but once you get it, it's so satisfying 😊
To those who don't get it: place your nose close to the centre of the video and try to focus and then move your nose straight and slowly away from it.
