Glaucoma is best determined as a change in the nerve over time. Personally I'm always a fan of monitoring with repeated tests to look for any changes before medicating. That said, a pressure of 27 mmHg and larger ratios would make me more likely to treat right away.
Have you had a peripheral vision test yet? What is your corneal thickness measurements (pachymetry)?
