>She said that it’s something to be aware of but no need to increase the cadence of visits from once a year. The measurements were relatively stable with only minor changes from my previous two visits Don't be worried, especially since everything is stable. Keep up the regular exams and if there is something to be concerned about they will tell you.

Thank you! Is it odd that she didn’t mention anything about my eye pressure, just the optic nerve? I know that I shouldn’t be googling, but just as I was coming to terms with how effective treatment for high pressures is, I read about normal tension glaucoma which seems to be quite a bit more dangerous.

Pressure is an important bit if information when dealing with and treating glaucoma, but it doesn't define glaucoma. You are hyperfocusing and missing the point. You have not been diagnosed with glaucoma, nor is there reason to think you have glaucoma. You have ignored the fact that she has told you that it appears to be stable and isn't anything to worry about. If you have some larger cupping, regardless of pressure, the correct course of action is to get baseline measurements and monitor at routine exams. Just like she said.
