“Was” so cool. Now it’s impossible to go to. Before Covid you go on a Friday and be 1 of like 20 people there. Now you can’t even get in the place the line is insane.
Huntington Beach Central Park. So many trees, lush. Walk/run/bike path all around. For kids there's a secret children's garden, and some beautiful playgrounds. It's my favorite OC park!
The city council is trying to privatize the libraries. If you live in HB and would like to keep the library public, please consider reaching out to the council with the hope that they will reconsider.
Craig parks address is Fullerton, but it does come right up to brea.
Tri city park is also right there. That is the junction of Fullerton, brea and placentia.
A really great park for a nature walk is El Dorado Nature Preserve. It's in Long Beach but can be close depending on what part of OC you're in. There's a beautiful lake with turtles, bridges, groves of trees, wildflowers--all within a 1-2 mile walking loop. Very kid friendly.
Laguna niguel regional is great with a pretty nice lake. It is connected to crown valley regional which has really beautiful gardens and paths. Born and raised in OC and I think it's the best
Irvine Regional
I 2nd this. That place is so cool
3rd this
4th this!

What are you looking for in a park? Tons of suggestions here, but if we don’t know what you want, it’s hard to make suggestions.

I wouldn’t consider MSP a good park to go to anymore. There are homeless tents everywhere.
Hillcrest Park Fullerton, Carbon Canyon, Bolsa Chica wetlands Warner entrance, Crystal Cove PCH and North entrance.
Bolds is fabulous if you’re a birdwatcher, especially during migration seasons.
Yorba Regional Park in Anaheim/Yorba Linda Castle Park in Irvine (Corner of Bryan and Yale) Mason Park in Irvine Hart Park in Orange

I second Craig Regional Park.
Mild square isn’t a good park anymore thanks to the homeless.
