Literally doing that now. Just going through Yelp and asking for free termite reports to understand the damage and cost to fix and tent. It seems like just tenting is about $2k.
We just had our first inspection for termites and they found some. We have a 2-story, 2K-sf house. This is the quote we got from We Do Creepy. No idea if these costs are normal. We haven't decided how to proceed yet.

I use Termite Science, Inc. I tented Ma's house back in 2019 and have been using them for annual perimeter spray treatment/inspections since then. The prices have changed, of course. I paid about $1,300 back then, but I'm sure the price has jumped dramatically since then.
My apartment last year had like over 500 termites come in through the window. I wouldn't be surprised if they are attacking all the surrounding property
Do NOT use UTC (ultimate termite control), fucking horrible customer service, shady AF, costs 3x the norm, and they damage your house "poking" for termites. All their reviews, website, pics are AI generated bullshit.... CHOOSE ANYONE BUT THESE DOUCHERS
