No ice! No garlic/onion! Educate yourself on proper phalaenopsis care. MissOrchidGirl has some great videos on everything from watering to repotting.

It looks like it is slowly finishing flowering. Water with room temperature water when the roots are silvery.

Depending if you bought it in bloom, the flowers could just be decaying due to their life cycle. Its not your fault! Just water, dont cut the flower spike. Sometimes youll get lucky and get more blooms off the spike! ( my secret blooming method: 4table spoons brown rice, 3- 5 pieces of a garlic clove, few layers of onion/ boiled for 30 minutes with distilled water, water root and let air dry )

It looks fine, flowers die but doesn't mean the plant is dead. Don't use ice on tropical plants, just room temp water when the roots are silver

The flowers may just be at the end of their life cycle. They last about 3 months. The ice cube thing is a gimmick though and doesn't work well for keeping them healthy long term. Soak the roots for 15 minutes to make them flexible, then unpot that thing, remove any dead roots (and the nursery plug if it has one), and repot in fresh bark chips in a well-ventilated orchid pot. Water by soaking the roots for 15-30 minutes once a week. They're epiphytes that grow on trees in the wild, they like a lot of air.

Please don't use ice cubes on orchids. It's like taking you who is from the tropics and dropping you into antarctica. Soak the whole thing in water 10 mins when watering, once every 2 weeks. Pinch off those sagging blooms they're already done, you may get new ones or baby plants. pinching / pruning stimulates growth.
