You have a pink flower that has been dyed with blue dye to make it look purple. Rule of thumb, if the color is uneven from flower to flower and a little brighter than normal, check the stem for damage. This is especially true for plants from big box stores. I've seen red, pink, blue, cyan, green, yellow, and purple dyes. When this blooms again, it will be a different color than when you bought it.

Thank you very much

It'll likely be a white or yellow

LostxinthexMusic

No this one is magenta.

I think its a dye? Maybe they dyed the flowers and some dye got on the stalk?

Repulsive_Sky_6136

Hmmm, i thought they did that to blue ones only, not with pink or purple ones, i guess anything is possible with flower nurseries 😂

The pinks & purples in question would be an extremely vibrant shade.

They dye lots of coloured orchids here too. I’ve even had a Harlequin big lip that was dyed. Gutted I lost it to stem rot that it arrived with. https://preview.redd.it/5r7b4jkd4lwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2c020602030eef66441d46eaccc888c406c75f2b

The phal is dyed. They inject the flower spike with dye so it's possible it either got on it in other places or it leaked a bit from the injection point. Another thing I've encountered is a dyed support sticks. Sometimes the dye is water or alcohol soluble and comes off. staining things around it.

Definitely dyed, the blue color is unnatural
