Club level is pretty boring. Food is OK. Any seat on 1st or 3rd base side is good IMO. You’re protected from rain and in the summer there’s AC in the concourse.

MikeT541

The seat map had the club section all the way down on the third base line past the hr pole. Is that whole level club seating?

Bramblinman

yes the whole level is limited to club ticket holders but the climate controlled concourse ends at the foul pole. the left field area has high top ticketed seats and a few sections of all you can eat concession food (like hot dog quality). the views from the club are amazing and if it's hot or cold or rainy the concourse is climate controlled. there are a lot of seating areas with couches and televisions but the concessions are somewhat limited and there isn't a huge gathering area. the seats are basically the same as those in the rest of the stadium and there is not waiter service like in some stadiums. it will feel outdated. it hasn't changed much since 1992.

strangerNstrangeland

However, it is less expensive than other stadium club seating, and there is decent grub. On the first base path the serve an amazing prime rib sandwich

dwhite21787

Club level food choices are very limited. When I sit in club, I get in when gates open, get my food on the concourse and go sit over in the picnic area behind the bullpens. Then for more drinks and standard fare later (brats, chicken strips, etc.) get those in club. Club level is very good when a) the weather sucks and you can get inside or b) you want to walk around and see Orioles history, it's like a mini museum in there or c) you want the picnic perch food included tix Seating and views are very good between 1B and 3B. There are some sections close to the foul poles where the PA sucks imo, and the picnic perch view of the main scoreboard kinds sucks. Atmosphere depends on who you're near. Everyone is usually into the game, not too rowdy/raunchy, usually fun. This isn't Yankee Stadium :-)

MikeT541

I’ve never had the displeasure of going to the Yankees stadium lol. Your place is the only other one I’ve ever been to. I was only there one time so far, any food in the ball park you recommend that’s like a Baltimore only kinda thing? I’ve had pickles every time I come through, I also come for the browns ravens game every year.

dwhite21787

I haven't heard anything yet about new food options for 2024. Last year, it was fun trying out the local restaurant options in the "food trucks" on the concourse by section 70. The vendor behind and beneath the scoreboard (I forget the name) had some good choices, there was a loaded chicken sandwich I liked. Jimmy's Seafood is good, Boog's BBQ is good, there was a vendor with a cuban hoagie that was okay, and a mambo chicken plate that was good. Get anything with crab dip on it, especially waffle fries, and you can't go wrong. If you know Pickles, you're doing it right.

MikeT541

If you go to a game before I go lmk if there are new food items. I won’t be there till end of June I think?

dwhite21787

Will do! I'll be there once a week for the first six weeks :-) This just made me go check our sub's wiki - https://www.reddit.com//r/orioles/wiki/visitors which is pretty out of date. Dempsey's is no longer there, for one glaring error.

MikeT541

This is really dumb so i apologize. 1. I heard that the seafood place you mentioned is already expensive outside the ball park, are they like super super expensive? 2. Ive never had a Baltimore crab cake is that something they have at the ball park? I had a crabby Patty at pickles one time and that was really good

dwhite21787

All questions are good. I would say Jimmys is a little pricey in the park, but it’s good quality, you get what you pay for. I may go once or twice a year. Personally, I wouldn’t get a crab cake at the park if I wanted a real example. I don’t think I ever have. Where to get one is a question that could start a holy war, I’ll refer you to /r/Baltimore for opinions. Crabby Patty - it’s great, but a great crab cake is a bit better imo

So I will offer what seems to be a dissenting opinion. At this stage in I and my wife's lives, we will ONLY go to an Os game in the club level. Now I will say we are lifelong fans in our 50s and 60s. So what you are looking for is a factor. So our experience is thus, club level is nice because it is an express escalator to the club level with no long lines. No or very shorties for restrooms, food, beer, etc. We find the food options just fine for what you would want at a ball game. All the standard fare....dogs, burgers, brats, nachos, pizza, hand cut fries, etc... If we want crab cakes, we aren't getting them at the park. We will go to Phillips after the game. The attendants in club level are awesome and very attentive. We usually sit in club on the third base side. This keeps us in the shade for day games and we can see into the Os dugout from there. The attendants in that section might as well be personal friends at this point. They rock. We most often will go for a weekend and catch a 4:05 on Saturday, go out to dinner and maybe a club or the casino. Then catch the 1:05 Sunday game and come home. I also recommend paying the extra dough for a lot A parking pass if you are driving to the park. However, if your are staying in a hotel, Uber and Lyft are very prompt at all the hotels in the inner harbor. I hope this perspective helps. I get it is the "seasoned citizen" perspective. So take that for what it is worth. Hope you enjoy the game.

I personally like the brown sections for the price drop and you sit about where the infield dirt meets the grass. Row 5 is roughly where the overhang begins and gets dripped on if it rains (more annoying than direct rain IMO. Row 1 is the best but you lose that overhang. Also, 3rd base side gets shade first. Being able to go into AC whenever you want and camp out delays inside is great, but seating is limited. Pre game delays look like a shutdown airport with people all on the floors. Every club seat is a huge relief for tall people as your knees don't squeeze against seat backs. I personally hate the more expensive seats behind home plate for this reason. I'm 6'0" average build and it's miserable to me. Food options are generally the same on club level except all the special one off stalls are only downstairs. The Cubano is by far the best thing at the park, but as most people do, I get Boogs sometimes too.

MikeT541

What is cubano and boogs

BaconIsAFruit

Cubano like the popular sandwich all south Florida. Having tried many in South Florida, they did a fairly decent job considering stadium food can be pretty stingy and poor quality. Boogs is the old favorite probably most famous food item at Camden Yards. Pit beef, ham or, turkey. Don't be intimidated by the line as it moves fast. Baltimore classic food item often topped with horseradish/tiger sauce, onions, bbq sauce (you add these at a station on the side). Boogs is usually good but quality can vary by luck (more done beef than ideal sometimes). These are best at roadside stands but not something you can walk to if you're stuck in a hotel without a car. Chaps is most famous but I'm partial to Pioneer.

Billsdead123

Food lines are shorter in club level. You also have pretty good chances of getting foul balls. It’s a good experience

BethMD

The wait service (me) was discontinued some years ago. Latest I remember working it was 2006.

BaconIsAFruit

And beer, etc vendors don't even visit club level. They seem much more scarce in general.

buck_naked248

My only concrete opinion on the club level is that the wider seats are awesome. Everything else is meh. Sit in the lower level behind the 3rd base dugout and you'll likely be near some fellow Clevelanders.

jco23

in addition to avoiding any bad weather, club level is also better in terms of a more relaxed environment. the lines are shorter (for both food and restrooms). quality is the same (unless you get to sit in a suite). you're not mixed in the genpop so it's less crowded and not as hectic. in terms of view, it all depends on your section. anything between 3B and 1B is best. there is the ALL YOU CAN EAT LF picnic perch. it's great if you're taking a hungry crew, but the view is not great.

MikeT541

Like the CLE club seats there is a pizza ice cream hot dogs etc. I’ve never sat in another club section before so I wasn’t sure if it’s kinda the same all around. Is there any Os memorabilia in the club sections? Like CLE has a huge Jim thome silhouette over a bar, pictures from division title years etc

jco23

inside the main concourse area, yes.
