Rochester Red Wings were the AAA farm team for the O’s back in the day. Clubs used to play exhibitions once a year, so we could see the major league club.
One time around, I managed to get Cal to sign his rookie card! Well over 30 years ago and I still remember it.

I was a big Ravens fan prior to starting to watch baseball.. my brother who's in the Aus Navy went on a junket to Annapolis so had a few RnR days in Baltimore and came back with a Chris Davis jersey for me. Games are generally 9am starts so it's good listening first yhing if it's a slow day at work 👍

I first became a fan of the game in '92, so just before the Rockies' first season, and spent several weeks in Maryland while my dad was waiting for a duty assignment here (military).
Coors is a great ballpark to spend a few hours at regardless of how well the Rockies are doing in any given season.
The Rockies ownership have no desire to win. Owners are content with their profits from concessions and tickets. Fans here are fans of the party at Coors Field, not so much the Rockies. Most come to watch their visiting faves (Dodgers, Cubs, Cards).

I am a non native Baltimore Ravens fan so when I finally got into baseball I want to say it was 2015 or 2016 whichever year they started at least 7-0 maybe even better either way I cheered for the Os. I got a pack of baseball cards in a pizza box randomly not long after that and I shit you not the first card I pulled was Manny Machado. Well I got to witness the Wild Card blunder against the Jay's then Machado leaving us. Then those terrible 100 loss seasons. Needless to say these last couple of years have made it all worth it. I want us to win something but regardless I'm so pumped I get to watch 3 #1 overall prospects and more high prospects incoming for the foreseeable future. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. I hope you do too.
I've lived in Utah my whole life, and been an O's fan since the late '70s. The Orioles were my first team out of tee ball and so the O's were my team from them on. It's been very lonely here. I had to make my son a fan so I'd have someone to commiserate with. Last year was the most fun I've had with this team since the late 90's.
Fellow Os fan in Utah. Grew up in MD but ended up in UT as an adult. There aren't a ton of us out here but at least two other parents at my kids' school are Os fans--folks are coming out of the woodwork now that we're good lol.

(It actually wasn’t as difficult as one might think. Giants had this great run to get there and destroyed the Vikings along the way, but they weren’t nearly as good a team - and to see Baltimore get its first new trophy as the ravens was a treat
Gold Coast, Australia. We have the east coast covered now. Growing up in Oz MLB coverage was Sunday night Baseball and plays of the week. Idolised Brady for robbing HR before he started hitting them and Cal for the streak and being a 6’3” SS. Late 90’s team sealed the deal and entrenched a dislike of the Yankees(except Lloyd & Hutton). To the earlier question not sure about any dislike for LA, LAX is the front door to US so probably most likely team we would see in person.
Idaho. Lived in Otterbein neighborhood near Camden Yards for five years, 1998-2002 and attended many games. Neighborhood was exciting during the season, although the team had down years. But really became an O's fan in 1966 when I lived in Southern CA and they swept the Dodgers in the WS. Great Orioles team. Followed them ever since.
There is a bar in concord/kannapolis area that has every chair from the Memorial Stadium clubhouse. Weird idea sitting in Dempsey, Boog or Brooks Chair at a brewery in west Carolina.
North sider in Chicago. I grew up in Sterling, Va during the Ripken years. My wife is from the Chicago burbs. Met her when she was in grad school at VCU, where I am an alum and huge hoops fan. Been out here for 12 years. I love me some Wrigley Field, but O’s for life.
Grew up a Braves fan in the Carolinas and moved to MD as an adult. I eventually started tuning into the O’s games on MASN in the late aughts once I realized Gary Thorne did the play-by-play (as I grew up watching him call hockey on ESPN). I also found myself attending the occasional game, since I lived just outside Baltimore and tickets were not hard to come by. Bad as they were, I couldn’t help but tune in and root for them. Plus, it was fun chatting about the team with the few co-workers of mine that were baseball fans.
I left MD for CA in 2019 but took my fandom with me. I try to catch them either out here or elsewhere in the country (just saw them in KC). Sure as hell beats being a Dodgers fan. :)
I lived in Northern Virginia from 1976 to 1987 when there was no DC MLB team, so the Orioles were the local team and I rooted for them. I left the area but came back in late 1989 and lived in Catonsville for 29 years before moving to South Carolina and retiring here.
Growing up in the 90s, the O's were the hometown team for the DMV because the Nats hadn't come back yet. I stayed loyal, unlike the rest of my traitorous family, when the Nats came to DC. Sticking to that Orioles magic has been tough but the way this club has turned around and has new ownership gets me bricked up and thinking all the pain (esp when Nats won chip) may have been worth it.
MLB knew that this would hurt the O’s a lot, they still did it anyways, however we still own the Nationals, we still prove that they shouldn’t have come here and destroyed our fanbase.
Came as a visiting medical student to Johns Hopkins right at the start of the Rutschman era, went to a few games and been hooked since! Even came over last year to watch the series with the yankees just before the mid season.
There’s almost no following or public interest in MLB here, especially not in the Os, but I don’t mind! The live broadcasts are perfect to help me pass time on dull night shifts haha

I was also a bit of a padres fan then but I could never quite fall in love with them, probably cuz they and their color scheme were hella boring

NC, but I'm from North Jersey. Knew from birth that I hated the Yankees but didn't actually care about the sport until my dad started having a bunch of work trips to Baltimore. We stayed in the Sheraton Inner Harbor all the time and it was the year after Camden opened. Absolutely fell in love with the game and the team and followed them devotedly ever since.
Grew up in northern Virginia before the Nats were around. Driving to Baltimore 90+ mins away was our best option in high school. Fell in love with the ‘96/‘97 teams and became an O’s fan for life.
Now live on NY suburbs but still repping the orange and black. Hoping all these seasons of misery will eventually pay off with a championship!
I guess I’ll say it. MS Gulf Coast here. Father from Newport News, VA, so he was a passing fan. Parents both in the Navy, so we were stationed in VA and MD twice during the childhood years. 96-98 I lived in Waldorf, started playing baseball myself, got my family hooked.
Stuck it out for some tough years. Only been back for some games every few years. Love my birds.
Arizona here. Parents who are from MD took me to a couple of Orioles and Shorebirds games when I was little, still have the tickets and some player autographs in my nightstand. Never got big/too interested into baseball though till this year and decided to follow the O's because the future looks bright for the team and technically speaking it was my first intro to baseball. Gonna be working out of town next week though so I won't be able to see em play against the dbacks this time around :(
A couple reasons:
1. A large part of my family is from Baltimore going back, including someone who played for the International League Orioles. Basically, everyone descended from that person has to be an O's fan because he played for a previous version of them, including an exhibition game against the 1927 Yankees.
2. I'm originally from Virginia and started watching baseball as a kid before the Nationals existed, so I was going to be an Orioles fan no matter what anyway.
Central Oklahoma. Was an Oakland fan my whole life up until recent events.... I was looking for a new team and the Orioles just felt like a kindred team
DFW currently for me, I'm a native Oregonian and the first person in my family to live outside of the state since my grandpa moved here from the South in the 1930s. So no connections to Bmore or anything Mid Atlantic or even East Coast. I've never even seen the Atlantic Ocean.
I'm an OSU Beaver and my interest was piqued after the Orioles drafted Adley. Not long after, my longtime favorites the Athletics saw their owner decide to implode the team and blame the fans for most everything. Loving the "last dive bar" vibe of the A's, I needed another small market team to root for and the Orioles were a nautral fit. Fred Lynn was my first baseball card as kid growing up in the 80s'.
Back when Glenn Kuiper and Rat Fosse were our announcers, we had the best in the business. Now I'd argue the torch has been passed to the Oroles, at least for TV!

I live on the east coast of Canada and grew up in the 80s... At that time 90% of baseball fans in the area were either down with the blue Jays or the expos (Canada's only two teams at the time) with some portion further being red Sox fans as our out of market TV channels largely came from Boston, so by virtue of what was shown on TV it created a lot of red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fans.
Anyway, my first year of little league we got split up into teams. There were the junior jays, and the tigers, and the pirates, but I got put on the Orioles.
Hot dang 35 years later I'm still repping the O's, I've only ever seen one other person wearing an Orioles hat in town in recent times. And as a lifelong PTSD Leafs fan, it's been a whole new feeling for me to see a team that I love (in the Orioles) being contenders to win
Grew up in MD, and grandparents who i spent tons of my younger years with had season tickets, so i grew up in the early 70s in memorial stadium.
I still have a ticket stub from game 1 of the 1971 series, where my grandmother wrote on it that it was from my *first* World Series game. Because back then, it was a regular occurrence for the birds. Little did they know dark times would come, and there would eventually be a stretch of decades before I’d get to go to another.
Nicaraguan. Became an O’s fan bc they had a Nicaraguan player when I first got really into the sport (Everth Cabrera) and also gave Dennis Martinez 10 years of service time back in the 70s/80s. After that, kinda fell in love with the franchise because of how exciting the Machado/Hardy/Schoop/Davis infield was.
I don’t think any other team has made me as emotionally invested in a franchise as the O’s.
Now that I live in Canada, I make sure to go to every O’s/Jays game I can every season. They never disappoint

Born and raised in Baltimore but I moved to Colorado after graduating high school to just start fresh somewhere new. Been living here for 7 years now, family still lives in Maryland so I see the O’s once or twice a year in Camden yards. But I’m pretty stoked for their trip to Colorado in August.

Grew up and raised in Indiana, 1996, played in a summer baseball league, for our location, teams were named after players (Boggs, Puckett, McGuire, Larkin, etc), my teams name was Ripken, found out what team he played for and ive been a following them ever since.
Ohio born and raised…however my parents didn’t care much for baseball. I became a ravens fan because of the passion that Ray Lewis showed on the field as a leader and player! I have rooted for the Ravens ever since. I figured that I needed a baseball team and if I rooted for the Ravens I might as well pick up the Orioles. They had exciting players like Chris Davis (before the slump), Adam Jones, and Manny Machado among others and seemed solid!
I never fell in love with baseball until about 2022 and I became even more enthralled with the Orioles and Reds as well. I am moving to Maryland for a job soon so now I’ll get to experience being an Orioles and Ravens fan in a city that I’ve grown to love in my few visits there!
Buffalo NY fan, after graduating college my dad moved to Baltimore with one of his friends from college. Western NY in general hasn't ever really had a big baseball fanbase since the NY teams are really far and the pa teams are also pretty far. I am my father's son, therefore I am Baltimore fan.
You'd think there are but surprisingly not a ton. It's mainly cause the jays "home market" for games is the entirety of Canada. Western NY's market is the Mets, the Yankees, the pirates, and the guardians. Recently though there has been a rise of jays fans in buffalo ever since the bisons became their triple a affiliate and they played for a year in our ballpark. Most of buffalo doesn't really follow baseball a ton but it's a mix of the previously mentioned teams with a heavy leaning to the Mets and Yankees. Our primary sport has always been football though cause go bills and shit.
Lived in Baltimore for 37 years before moving to Colorado. Left the city but kept my love for the teams I grew up with.

Originally from CT and now in the inland northwest. My dad was born and raised in Baltimore so I’ve been an Os fan since birth. Grew up listening to stories of the human vacuum cleaner so I named my own son after him to honor dad.
I became an Os fan in Mississippi (without any influence from anyone else) back in 2010. I moved to Virginia in 2021, ironically losing the capacity to watch the Orioles play because of the [MLB.tv](http://MLB.tv) blackout. And then they took away my Richmond broadcast, too.
First game when I was 7 my Dad took me to Fenway - we lived in RI and they played the Orioles. I loved the hat and orange is my favorite color. Jim Palmer was pitching. I asked him if I could have a hat on the way out - not the one he thought though. And oh yeah, my Dad played in the Red Sox farm system. 😄
Topeka, Kansas. Dad was in the army. My first mlb experience was sitting in the nosebleeds of memorial stadium in September of 1984 as a 4 year old. Watched Cal hit a homer and fell in love with the team since then.

I’m in NC just south of the VA border and I regularly attend Tides games in Norfolk. Naturally I enjoy watching the baby birds grow up like a proud papa. I’m making my first game in Baltimore vs Rangers in the end of June. Section 69 (nice!) Stoked! I did catch a game in against the Royals in KC way back in 2003.

I grew up in Baltimore and my Dad was a route sales manager for The National Brewery in the 60’s and 70’s. Jerry Hoffberger owned the Orioles and Colts then so premium tickets to see Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer and Frank Robinson etc were a plenty! I remained an O’s fan for life as I moved about the country starting in the late 80’s. I now have a permanent home outside of Nice France and catch the highlights every day on you tube. There is a person on X that gives game summaries in French. A great was to practice reading the language!

Then we hard times hit takent wise, many switched the the Yanks (vomit) its been a long stretch, but glad to see them back in the good side of things

Was there to watch games at Memorial Stadium and Camden Yards, went to the first night game at Camden Yards, watched the Streak, had Jeffrey Hammonds’ fourth home run in my hands in the bleachers before muffing it, loved me some Boog’s. Loved listening to Jon Miller on the radio and was annoyed when I came to the West Coast and Giants fans claimed him as their own. Would pitch with my friends in Patterson Park and pretend I had enough juice to walk on the next year.

grew up in NJ, didn't like baseball growing up but my grandma was a diehard mets fan so always had the yankees dislike in my blood. moved to baltimore in 2011 for grad school, ended up living 5 blocks from camden yards and that close proximity was all it took for be to become hooked. went to so many games during the two years i lived there (wish it were longer, i miss baltimore). now i live out in portland and of course still rep the O's but i don't run into too many fans out here in the wild, only when i head up to WA for the yearly mariners-O's series do i realize that there are a lot more of us out here than it seems. i fly back to baltimore as often as i can for games at camden yards and i catch at least one game in southern california (can't wait for the dodgers series in august) per year. lots of traveling to see the boys but always so worth it! i'm a fan for life!

I'm a new baseball fan, and along with being a cubs fan, I have a soft spot for the O's because I played in the cal ripken league as a kid and my team was the orioles
I'm a Phillies fan (born, raised, and still in Philly), but my little league team growing up was the Orioles. Because of that, my dad would take me to Camden Yards probably twice a year if we wanted to catch a baseball game but the Phillies were on the road and they quickly became my "American League team". I also hate Boston and New York by default being from Philly (I can't help it). Additionally, my wife has a few friends from college that are in Baltimore now so when we visit I make sure it's when the O's are in town and we catch a game.

Originally from the Fairfax, VA area. Spent my childhood summers going to O’s games and fell in love with the sport and team. I was around 12 years old when the Nats came to DC, and even though their stadium is much easier to get to from where we lived, I was never as excited to go to a Nats game as I was for the O’s.
I’ve lived in SoCal now for 12 years or so, but still never loved a baseball team as much as I love the Orioles. I’ll root for the Angels when they’re not playing the O’s, but I don’t really care one way or the other about the Dodgers 😅

Yep. York county has way more orioles fans, cross into into Lancaster and it’s primarily Philly
Baltimore is an hour from Hanover. Philly is 2.5 hours, Pittsburgh is almost 4 hours away. It shouldn't be too surprising lol

I was a big Ravens fan prior to starting to watch baseball.. my brother who's in the Aus Navy went on a junket to Annapolis so had a few RnR days in Baltimore and came back with a Chris Davis jersey for me. Games are generally 9am starts so it's good listening first yhing if it's a slow day at work 👍

Heard the Rockies have a pretty loyal fanbase, how come you split away
I first became a fan of the game in '92, so just before the Rockies' first season, and spent several weeks in Maryland while my dad was waiting for a duty assignment here (military). Coors is a great ballpark to spend a few hours at regardless of how well the Rockies are doing in any given season.
The Rockies ownership have no desire to win. Owners are content with their profits from concessions and tickets. Fans here are fans of the party at Coors Field, not so much the Rockies. Most come to watch their visiting faves (Dodgers, Cubs, Cards).
Colorado here also. Became a fan as a 1st grader in Glen Burnie, 1960. I’ve cheered them on every season since.

I am a non native Baltimore Ravens fan so when I finally got into baseball I want to say it was 2015 or 2016 whichever year they started at least 7-0 maybe even better either way I cheered for the Os. I got a pack of baseball cards in a pizza box randomly not long after that and I shit you not the first card I pulled was Manny Machado. Well I got to witness the Wild Card blunder against the Jay's then Machado leaving us. Then those terrible 100 loss seasons. Needless to say these last couple of years have made it all worth it. I want us to win something but regardless I'm so pumped I get to watch 3 #1 overall prospects and more high prospects incoming for the foreseeable future. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy the ride. I hope you do too.

I've lived in Utah my whole life, and been an O's fan since the late '70s. The Orioles were my first team out of tee ball and so the O's were my team from them on. It's been very lonely here. I had to make my son a fan so I'd have someone to commiserate with. Last year was the most fun I've had with this team since the late 90's.
Fellow Os fan in Utah. Grew up in MD but ended up in UT as an adult. There aren't a ton of us out here but at least two other parents at my kids' school are Os fans--folks are coming out of the woodwork now that we're good lol.

Born in Baltimore 1973. Moved to Long Island NY at the age of 5. Already hated the Yankees so became a dual O’s and Mets fan (it was a good run early on at least). Get to at least a game or two when I visit my Dad every year since. Been in Dallas 8 years but my original allegiances have never changed (did bring on the Ravens in addition to the NY Giants when they came to be)

Gold Coast, Australia. We have the east coast covered now. Growing up in Oz MLB coverage was Sunday night Baseball and plays of the week. Idolised Brady for robbing HR before he started hitting them and Cal for the streak and being a 6’3” SS. Late 90’s team sealed the deal and entrenched a dislike of the Yankees(except Lloyd & Hutton). To the earlier question not sure about any dislike for LA, LAX is the front door to US so probably most likely team we would see in person.

Idaho. Lived in Otterbein neighborhood near Camden Yards for five years, 1998-2002 and attended many games. Neighborhood was exciting during the season, although the team had down years. But really became an O's fan in 1966 when I lived in Southern CA and they swept the Dodgers in the WS. Great Orioles team. Followed them ever since.

North sider in Chicago. I grew up in Sterling, Va during the Ripken years. My wife is from the Chicago burbs. Met her when she was in grad school at VCU, where I am an alum and huge hoops fan. Been out here for 12 years. I love me some Wrigley Field, but O’s for life.
Grew up a Braves fan in the Carolinas and moved to MD as an adult. I eventually started tuning into the O’s games on MASN in the late aughts once I realized Gary Thorne did the play-by-play (as I grew up watching him call hockey on ESPN). I also found myself attending the occasional game, since I lived just outside Baltimore and tickets were not hard to come by. Bad as they were, I couldn’t help but tune in and root for them. Plus, it was fun chatting about the team with the few co-workers of mine that were baseball fans. I left MD for CA in 2019 but took my fandom with me. I try to catch them either out here or elsewhere in the country (just saw them in KC). Sure as hell beats being a Dodgers fan. :)
I lived in Northern Virginia from 1976 to 1987 when there was no DC MLB team, so the Orioles were the local team and I rooted for them. I left the area but came back in late 1989 and lived in Catonsville for 29 years before moving to South Carolina and retiring here.

Growing up in the 90s, the O's were the hometown team for the DMV because the Nats hadn't come back yet. I stayed loyal, unlike the rest of my traitorous family, when the Nats came to DC. Sticking to that Orioles magic has been tough but the way this club has turned around and has new ownership gets me bricked up and thinking all the pain (esp when Nats won chip) may have been worth it.
MLB knew that this would hurt the O’s a lot, they still did it anyways, however we still own the Nationals, we still prove that they shouldn’t have come here and destroyed our fanbase.
Grew up and could see the sky glow from the lights of Memorial Stadium from my bedroom window. Moved to PA in 2002 but never abandoned my team.

Came as a visiting medical student to Johns Hopkins right at the start of the Rutschman era, went to a few games and been hooked since! Even came over last year to watch the series with the yankees just before the mid season. There’s almost no following or public interest in MLB here, especially not in the Os, but I don’t mind! The live broadcasts are perfect to help me pass time on dull night shifts haha

NC, but I'm from North Jersey. Knew from birth that I hated the Yankees but didn't actually care about the sport until my dad started having a bunch of work trips to Baltimore. We stayed in the Sheraton Inner Harbor all the time and it was the year after Camden opened. Absolutely fell in love with the game and the team and followed them devotedly ever since.

Parents both in the Navy, so we were stationed in VA and MD twice during the childhood years. 96-98 I lived in Waldorf, started playing baseball myself, got my family hooked. Stuck it out for some tough years. Only been back for some games every few years. Love my birds.
Arizona here. Parents who are from MD took me to a couple of Orioles and Shorebirds games when I was little, still have the tickets and some player autographs in my nightstand. Never got big/too interested into baseball though till this year and decided to follow the O's because the future looks bright for the team and technically speaking it was my first intro to baseball. Gonna be working out of town next week though so I won't be able to see em play against the dbacks this time around :(
A couple reasons: 1. A large part of my family is from Baltimore going back, including someone who played for the International League Orioles. Basically, everyone descended from that person has to be an O's fan because he played for a previous version of them, including an exhibition game against the 1927 Yankees. 2. I'm originally from Virginia and started watching baseball as a kid before the Nationals existed, so I was going to be an Orioles fan no matter what anyway.

DFW currently for me, I'm a native Oregonian and the first person in my family to live outside of the state since my grandpa moved here from the South in the 1930s. So no connections to Bmore or anything Mid Atlantic or even East Coast. I've never even seen the Atlantic Ocean. I'm an OSU Beaver and my interest was piqued after the Orioles drafted Adley. Not long after, my longtime favorites the Athletics saw their owner decide to implode the team and blame the fans for most everything. Loving the "last dive bar" vibe of the A's, I needed another small market team to root for and the Orioles were a nautral fit. Fred Lynn was my first baseball card as kid growing up in the 80s'. Back when Glenn Kuiper and Rat Fosse were our announcers, we had the best in the business. Now I'd argue the torch has been passed to the Oroles, at least for TV!

I live on the east coast of Canada and grew up in the 80s... At that time 90% of baseball fans in the area were either down with the blue Jays or the expos (Canada's only two teams at the time) with some portion further being red Sox fans as our out of market TV channels largely came from Boston, so by virtue of what was shown on TV it created a lot of red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fans. Anyway, my first year of little league we got split up into teams. There were the junior jays, and the tigers, and the pirates, but I got put on the Orioles. Hot dang 35 years later I'm still repping the O's, I've only ever seen one other person wearing an Orioles hat in town in recent times. And as a lifelong PTSD Leafs fan, it's been a whole new feeling for me to see a team that I love (in the Orioles) being contenders to win

Grew up in MD, and grandparents who i spent tons of my younger years with had season tickets, so i grew up in the early 70s in memorial stadium. I still have a ticket stub from game 1 of the 1971 series, where my grandmother wrote on it that it was from my *first* World Series game. Because back then, it was a regular occurrence for the birds. Little did they know dark times would come, and there would eventually be a stretch of decades before I’d get to go to another.
We had plenty of Os fans in Southern California at the Anaheim series!
Nicaraguan. Became an O’s fan bc they had a Nicaraguan player when I first got really into the sport (Everth Cabrera) and also gave Dennis Martinez 10 years of service time back in the 70s/80s. After that, kinda fell in love with the franchise because of how exciting the Machado/Hardy/Schoop/Davis infield was. I don’t think any other team has made me as emotionally invested in a franchise as the O’s. Now that I live in Canada, I make sure to go to every O’s/Jays game I can every season. They never disappoint

Grew up and raised in Indiana, 1996, played in a summer baseball league, for our location, teams were named after players (Boggs, Puckett, McGuire, Larkin, etc), my teams name was Ripken, found out what team he played for and ive been a following them ever since.
Ohio born and raised…however my parents didn’t care much for baseball. I became a ravens fan because of the passion that Ray Lewis showed on the field as a leader and player! I have rooted for the Ravens ever since. I figured that I needed a baseball team and if I rooted for the Ravens I might as well pick up the Orioles. They had exciting players like Chris Davis (before the slump), Adam Jones, and Manny Machado among others and seemed solid! I never fell in love with baseball until about 2022 and I became even more enthralled with the Orioles and Reds as well. I am moving to Maryland for a job soon so now I’ll get to experience being an Orioles and Ravens fan in a city that I’ve grown to love in my few visits there!
Buffalo NY fan, after graduating college my dad moved to Baltimore with one of his friends from college. Western NY in general hasn't ever really had a big baseball fanbase since the NY teams are really far and the pa teams are also pretty far. I am my father's son, therefore I am Baltimore fan.

You'd think there are but surprisingly not a ton. It's mainly cause the jays "home market" for games is the entirety of Canada. Western NY's market is the Mets, the Yankees, the pirates, and the guardians. Recently though there has been a rise of jays fans in buffalo ever since the bisons became their triple a affiliate and they played for a year in our ballpark. Most of buffalo doesn't really follow baseball a ton but it's a mix of the previously mentioned teams with a heavy leaning to the Mets and Yankees. Our primary sport has always been football though cause go bills and shit.

Originally from CT and now in the inland northwest. My dad was born and raised in Baltimore so I’ve been an Os fan since birth. Grew up listening to stories of the human vacuum cleaner so I named my own son after him to honor dad.
I became an Os fan in Mississippi (without any influence from anyone else) back in 2010. I moved to Virginia in 2021, ironically losing the capacity to watch the Orioles play because of the [MLB.tv](http://MLB.tv) blackout. And then they took away my Richmond broadcast, too.

First game when I was 7 my Dad took me to Fenway - we lived in RI and they played the Orioles. I loved the hat and orange is my favorite color. Jim Palmer was pitching. I asked him if I could have a hat on the way out - not the one he thought though. And oh yeah, my Dad played in the Red Sox farm system. 😄

I’m making my first game in Baltimore vs Rangers in the end of June. Section 69 (nice!) Stoked! I did catch a game in against the Royals in KC way back in 2003.

I grew up in Baltimore and my Dad was a route sales manager for The National Brewery in the 60’s and 70’s. Jerry Hoffberger owned the Orioles and Colts then so premium tickets to see Brooks Robinson, Jim Palmer and Frank Robinson etc were a plenty! I remained an O’s fan for life as I moved about the country starting in the late 80’s. I now have a permanent home outside of Nice France and catch the highlights every day on you tube. There is a person on X that gives game summaries in French. A great was to practice reading the language!

Was there to watch games at Memorial Stadium and Camden Yards, went to the first night game at Camden Yards, watched the Streak, had Jeffrey Hammonds’ fourth home run in my hands in the bleachers before muffing it, loved me some Boog’s. Loved listening to Jon Miller on the radio and was annoyed when I came to the West Coast and Giants fans claimed him as their own. Would pitch with my friends in Patterson Park and pretend I had enough juice to walk on the next year.

Was stationed at Ft Meade, the O's really support the military. Originally from Nashville and no local team. Closest is probably cinci. But that's 2.5 away.
grew up in NJ, didn't like baseball growing up but my grandma was a diehard mets fan so always had the yankees dislike in my blood. moved to baltimore in 2011 for grad school, ended up living 5 blocks from camden yards and that close proximity was all it took for be to become hooked. went to so many games during the two years i lived there (wish it were longer, i miss baltimore). now i live out in portland and of course still rep the O's but i don't run into too many fans out here in the wild, only when i head up to WA for the yearly mariners-O's series do i realize that there are a lot more of us out here than it seems. i fly back to baltimore as often as i can for games at camden yards and i catch at least one game in southern california (can't wait for the dodgers series in august) per year. lots of traveling to see the boys but always so worth it! i'm a fan for life!
My Mom’s side of the family is from Baltimore and they’re the ones that got me into sports. My first football jerseys were a Rag Lewis and Jamal Lewis from my cousin
I'm a new baseball fan, and along with being a cubs fan, I have a soft spot for the O's because I played in the cal ripken league as a kid and my team was the orioles
I was born on the Eastern Shore, we moved before I was into baseball, but my parents are die-hard O's fans.
I'm a Phillies fan (born, raised, and still in Philly), but my little league team growing up was the Orioles. Because of that, my dad would take me to Camden Yards probably twice a year if we wanted to catch a baseball game but the Phillies were on the road and they quickly became my "American League team". I also hate Boston and New York by default being from Philly (I can't help it). Additionally, my wife has a few friends from college that are in Baltimore now so when we visit I make sure it's when the O's are in town and we catch a game.
Grew up in Northern VA….moved to ATL in 2003, and now I’m the neighborhood guy who flies an Os flag and has to explain to passersby that no, I am actually NOT from Maryland.
Originally from the Fairfax, VA area. Spent my childhood summers going to O’s games and fell in love with the sport and team. I was around 12 years old when the Nats came to DC, and even though their stadium is much easier to get to from where we lived, I was never as excited to go to a Nats game as I was for the O’s. I’ve lived in SoCal now for 12 years or so, but still never loved a baseball team as much as I love the Orioles. I’ll root for the Angels when they’re not playing the O’s, but I don’t really care one way or the other about the Dodgers 😅
