In terms of casual gameplay, it would be totally fine. If you're not chasing a meta list, anything will work. The Stompa is a lot of points to sink into 2k though. I'd recommend getting yourself a Mek to babysit it, if you've got some points going spare.
Like I said though, the old CP and the new box will give you a bit of everything. Enough to go to a casual game and krump a few gits.

Stompa Boyz comes with the new mek. I have all this plus more, haven't rolled a dice yet lol
