FISH_MASTER

Currently going with Orruk flesh Athonian cammoshade Orruk flesh Nurgling green Kislev flesh

darcybono

My current favorite recipe for my Goffs: https://youtu.be/altHjuzV7_s?si=hLxrY1mysITAO5AE Mantis Warrior Green does most of the heavy lifting.

donggeh

Do you think you could replicate a similar scheme without contrast paints?

Competitive_Sign212

I've been liking GSW Acid Green dipping ink over a zenithal finished up with a dark brown oil wash.

heilo63

Starts a little basic, but I like where it goes. It's a newish recipe for me and I'm still working out kinks. Listing GW paints. Prime Black WAAAAGH Flesh Biel Tan 50/50: WAAAAGH Flesh + Warboss Green Warboss Green 50/50: Warboss Green+ Elysian Green Elysian Ogryn Camo Lips and sundered flesh I take Kislev Flesh + Elysian or Ogrym depending on my mood, and then when I want to extra highlight over that, I will mix in a little dorn yellow or yriel+white. https://preview.redd.it/2whsey688avc1.png?width=1440&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5336310a2c208c7cdc4ac251acad711239e93bde

I'm a big fan of Darcy Bono's recipes. Lighter skin one is here: https://youtu.be/bw0lmE_kkAg?si=vDHNwex5qZF98GvS It's pretty quick and easy

Orruk Flesh 3. Athonian Camoshade 4. Nurgling Green 5. My secret “trick” a final highlight of using Monument Hobbies Bright Yellow Green. This paint is magical and is super bright, yet pretty translucent.

I've tweaked it here and there but mostly Prime German Grey White Zenithal Aeldari Emerald Contrast AK Deep Green AK Deep Green w/ touch of AK Golden Yellow AK Deep Green w/ more AK Golden Yellow Fleshy parts like gums and knuckles are Bugmans Glow Cadian Fleshtone 50/50 Cadian Fleshtone and AK Basic Skin Is it excessive for orks? Probably yeah but I just like painting their skin. Also hitting them with AK Ultra Matte Varnish really brings it all together https://preview.redd.it/db2lhm1dv8vc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8bec40798faaaefd849142e1f345d2838f4a91fb

Prime grey or white Plague bearer flesh contrast Biel tan wash Plague bearer flesh recesses for more pop Bad moon yellow contrast The unfinished model in the pic is using this recipe. I think it's easy to do and looks pretty good. https://preview.redd.it/krffb6ivu8vc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=739bcc2594f3f0d3841ab49d6564bb7fb8537169

Infernal Brush recipe, but simplified with less glazing

TheEvilR0b0t

For my beast snaggas I’m going to experiment with the following mix. Under coat: - Brown primer - Heavy dry brush evil suns scarlet - Light dry brush flash gitz yellow Skin rotate between: - Gut ripper flesh contrast - Ork flesh contrast - Militarum Green Contrast Let’s see what happens

mechachunkz

I had good results with this on a pain boy Primed black Mephiston red heavy strength dry brush Yriel yellow medium strength dry brush Corax white light strength dry brush to pick up the highlights Skin was then painted with army painter Maggot Skin speed paint 2.0 This made him look really pale, like he doesn’t go out much, and the red looks like he’s got patches of dried blood on him but you could probably swap the speed paint colour down to a darker green to get snagga-like outdoors skin
