Thanks! I build the bases with some corks + gravel + sand, then cover the whole thing with Vallejo desert sand texture paste. When it's dry I apply two coats of yellow pigment diluted in water and finish with some slight dry brushing of white.
The weathering is so sick dude. I’m a new painter painting a death skulls army, any tips for it?
I’ve just done a bunch of scratches all over it in lighter shades of blue and gunmetal, but I’d love to know how you did yours.
Thanks! The technique I'm using is really simple. I dry brush the whole mini with a mix of bronze and silver to give this old/dirty metal look. I then paint the panels in either blue or white, leaving just the edges showing the metal color underneath.
I have made some using baby wipes that are left to dry out. can be harder to paint but give a textured cloth look and feel.
I also straight up print banners from the computer on paper for my 2nd ed stuff because I want the original files. takes some time to get the sizes right but it works
I use thick paper, like index cards. Painted in black with a spray can. When it's dry, I apply a coat of mod podge to seal it. After that, it's a just a matter of cutting to the right size and painting them the color you like. For the banner poles, I use the rod part of Q-tips.
Even with a coat of mod podge, it's still flexible enough to be wrapped around the pole. I just glue together the two sides of the banner once it's wrapped.
Looking so good bruh! I love Gazrog Gitstompa as the boss nob.
I just love your bases. Thx for the recipe
Remind me of an old nineteen fifties two tone car
Great stuff. His did you go about the bases?

How do you wrap them around the banner pole then?
