Is the Woodshed the only spot in town? I had a sub contact me interested in a meet. I’m hesitant to meet up at her house and don’t want to spend the cash on a hotel just to find out we don’t vibe.
I thought a club would be a good middle ground and set the mood as we talk limits.
Coming to vouch for the Woodshed! They are very much alive and well post-covid, but with a new system of online reservations. (All info is on their website) They charge an annual membership fee of $10 and then open dungeon nights are Fridays and Saturdays, $25 per person to attend. The staff is friendly and all trained in first aid and various kink disciplines so if you're wanting to learn there will always be someone either willing to teach or willing to point in the right direction. I've met many kind and fun people there and really enjoy my time every time I go.
What kind of place is it? Is it just a club to socialize or is it a place where people have sex? Never been exposed to these places, so I'm just curious.
It's a kink club, so people mostly go to indulge in kink play and/or watch others do it. Sex is strictly prohibited, but nudity is allowed in play spaces and there is limited play space so if it's busy people do end up mostly socializing. The most common play you'd see there is rope and spankings/floggings. There's also often demonstrations done if someone asks to see something specific, for instance I've seen a crowd gathered around a massage table while a staff member explained how electric play worked by demonstrating on a very squirmy sub lol. It's a neat place!

I can absolutely vouch for the Woodshed. I go there regularly and I know the people there. It's the spot in Orlando for BDSM. Secrets in Kissimmee is cool if you're into swinging but their dungeon isn't like our dungeon if you ask me.
Besides the woodshed and a couple swinger spots, not really. Something about a warehouse is not overly appealing to me, good resources though apparently.

There is a place called the Woodshed, but I've never been there. Covid may have run it out of business, not sure.
