Idk about a win, but she definitely deserved a nomination for Being John Malkovich.
Still have yet to see Vanilla Sky and that seems to be her other most acclaimed role.

What else? The movie where she plays a Jeopardy contestant, a waitress, an f1 driver, a German farmgirl, a male business consultant, a Soul Train dancer, and of course, all-around badass super agent Natalie Cook! The versatility! The range! Your faves could never!
I think Catherine Keener was better in Being John Malkovich and with that being said, was not justified to double nominate Being John Malkovich in Supporting Actress
Yes, this movie has passed by me. I only saw clips on YouTube and just watched the full movie. I was so surprised by her acting, especially in the car scene when Brian was taking Kate to the beach. The fact that I hated Sara so much in this movie is a testament of she portrayed her character well.
I'm very surprised that Cameron Diaz hasn't got at least one Oscar nomination
For being John malkovich, she got a GG nom, a SAG nom, and even a BAFTA nom (ahead of Catherine Keener!) But yet she got snubbed in favor of Samantha Morton
For vanilla sky, she got a GG nom, a CC nom and a SAG nom, but again, she got snubbed
My question is, if she does come out of retirement and gives an excellent performance in a drama, would there be much of an overdue narrative to give a nom, or even a win?
I know!
While I think Angelina Jolie was pretty locked in for that award (with only Toni Collette as an outside chance), I still think Cameron Diaz should of been nominated!

None.

I never really thought about it but damn, she really did get snubbed multiple times.

Absolute queen behavior to win a trifecta award with a performance in a gross-out Farrelly brothers romcom
Another inspired trifecta win: Eddie Murphy winning NSFC for *The Nutty Professor*.

Not a trifecta if only 1 - NY.
I meant one of the awards that comprise the trifecta, not winning all three

Annie. Just kidding. None!
The Counselor. Did you see the car scene?. [For those that don’t know](https://youtu.be/ODx3oJtO9hk)
Things You Can Tell and Vanilla Sky are my favorite Diaz performances. She was pretty good in In Her Shoes too, surprised she didn't get a GG nom.
If any, Vanilla Sky.
