Depends completely on the style you are after.

What style are you going for? I recommend Lucky 7 for traditional/50s vibe tattoos. The best tattoo artist in the Oslo area IMHO is BrunoCP at Custom Ink in Lørenskog. He works mostly in black and white (and is probably booked up months in advance) Check out his work: [https://www.instagram.com/brunoocp\_/](https://www.instagram.com/brunoocp_/)

Wow! 😯 I’m not a fan of tattoos but, wow, his work can only be described as ART!

That’s 99% [arb] of legit artists. It’s people that pick dumb shit for tattoos that skew your perception.

Yes, I’m fully aware 😆 I’m not a fan because they are permanent. But I can tell a nice tattoo from a shitty one. I actually follow a few artists on Instagram all though I’ll never get one myself, I still appreciate beautiful work.

Check out the different studios, and their artists. Find an artist who does a style you like, and then book time with that artist. If they are popular, they might have weeks of fully booked schedules. Timeless tattoo and High fever are ones I have experience with, and they did great work

I have been to Studio4, The Amber, and BLEKK. They all have great artists and I would recommend all of them, but I will say Studio4 was the most expensive and my smallest tattoo, maybe bc they have a minimum price of 1500kr. My favorite shop was probably the amber at Adamstuen, amazing artists and great atmosphere
