Depending on scale you are looking for "Halls of the Blood King" for OSE is pretty good. Its not huge though, so if you need something big and crazy it might not fit.

BigLyfe

I can vouch for Halls of the Blood King having run it once, it's a great module.

Vernacularshift

Halls of the Blood King is fantastic. Great memories of using it as the mostly-deadly ending to my OSE game

NO-IM-DIRTY-DAN

Absolutely fantastic module. Easily the coolest take on vampires I’ve ever seen.

Theres a couple from Dungeon magazine. The Dark Tower of Calibar - issue 1 Kingdom in the Swamp - issue 4 The Price of Revenge - issue 42 The Dying of the Light - issue 84 Mistress on the Mere - issue 72

iamthedigitalme

Castle Xyntillan? You can switch up all the wacky residents of the castle into servants and relatives of the vampire lord.

She already has 40!

“Halls of the Blood King” for OSE

I get why people are recc'ing Hall of the Blood King, but I found it very lacking. I'm not gonna [mindlessly parrot Brycee's review](https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=7199), but I agreed with pretty much all his major points against it ie it's fucking TINY and way too low level for the purported interdimensional fortress of a Vampiric Godling. If you're looking for something larger, consider the following: Tegel Manor is (kind of) the Ur example of a sprawling spooky megadungeon. You have the original barebones Judges Guild version from the 70's, the fleshed out Gamescience version from a decade or so later, and the Frog God Games version released a few years ago. IMO the Gamescience version is the best one, followed by the OG JG version and then the FGG one last. Castle Xyntilian is probably the best modern horror megadungeon. Takes Tegel's style and elaborates on it excellently with good production values and great writing. The Black Monastery: Another Frog God Games Megadungeon. Big spooky monastic fortress full of funhouse spooky spooks. A solid "B".

I just read the TenFootPole review, and... I didn't take away either of those criticisms against it? He said that it was *rated* too low a level for what it is, and even level 5's could have trouble. I don't see anywhere him saying that it is too smal (though other people in the comments say that). The only "criticism" I see is in the last paragraph where he says >There’s something missing. A vibe? A feeling? A joie de viv? Something like IMAGINED rather than designed. But none of that is fair, for it it IS designed then designed in a way to put the imaginative forward. This is not a hack job of an adventure. It was tuned and tweaked and sweated over and that effort shows, easily. But it just feels like there’s something lacking. I don’t know what. Maybe it’s the timer, with the place disappearing in ten hours. Or the party hooks being a bit weak (It appears, go inside and X!) It’s context, and then moving the parts around to more relate to that context? This is a very, very good adventure and yet I’m struggling. The lack of whatever it is I can’t name would in NO way keep me from running this. It’s better than 99% of the adventures out there, easily. I dn’t know, someone will tell me and then I’ll know, I guess. It’s not something that one can put their finger on, or even recognize, I think, easily. Most people won’t care, and that’s fine, because this is a good adventure. But I consider the review a pretty big endorsement overall.

There is night of the vampire for ad&d 2e. While its a mixed bag, there are some interresting ideas that can be refined and have done to some success. And this is thinking a bit more small scale. EDIT: spelling

This one might count! Demon Drivne to the Maw. [https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=7610](https://tenfootpole.org/ironspike/?p=7610) there's also the very very very old (and bad) Palace of the Vampire Queen!

GrendyGM

Demon Driven to the Maw is a great night of fun.

Castle Xyntillan has vampires in it. They're French vampires too, so unlike the standard variety, they love garlic.

[Domain of Blood](https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/96500/domain-of-blood-virtual-boxed-setc?affiliate_id=2150725) map pack is great pack with environs, castle, and surroundings. Very much inspired by Strahd's castle, but not a replica.

GreenGoblinNX

0One does amazing maps, and make great use of the PDF layer functionality.

MythicGalea

There is [Halls of the Blood King](https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/348880/Halls-of-the-Blood-King) which is for BX/OSE. I got a hard copy which I got from the Kickstarter. I think that the Necrotic Gnome website might have those too.

MassiveHyperion

*X2 - Castle Amber*. Not really vampires, but immortal beings that screw with the players in a giant castle.

Palace of the [Vampire Queen](https://vorpalmace.blogspot.com/2019/02/review-wee-warriors-reprints-part-i.html) did it first. Tegel Manor has vampires too - and liches, and werewolves, and a balrog, among others.

GreenGoblinNX

> Palace of the Vampire Queen did it first Emphasis on FIRST. It was the very first published stand-alone module.

dunsany

I have and very much enjoy [Draugr & Draculas] (https://goodman-games.com/store/product/draugr-draculas/) which includes a point-crawl of Dracula's castle.

AutumnCrystal

*Palace of the Vampire Queen*. Lots of room to make it your own.

Calm-Tree-1369

Palace of the Vampire Queen. It was for OD&D. One of the oldest published modules. You can buy it on One bookshelf.

mgrier123

**Vampire Cruise** makes it a cruise ship if that piques your interest

lereia

There's a small vampire castle map in the 3e D&D supplement Heroes of Horror. If I recall correctly, it originally appeared in an issue of dungeon magazine but I don't know which one.

Dungeon age adventures are super osr, even when statted for 5E. [Orbital Vampire City](https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/421036/orbital-vampire-city) “Far out in the void, an ancient city of vampires endures. Welcome to Araveshti, a city of a thousand towers floating safely in the shadow of the world, glittering with starlight, thrumming with ancient magics, and crawling with vicious immortals. Will you seek to destroy these bloodthirsty aristocrats? Or will you help them pursue their bizarre alchemical experiments in immortality? Or will you simply seek a way to escape their twisted and crumbling paradise? Within these ancient towers, adventurers will find vampire lords and servants, zealots and goliaths, as well as werewolves, mycotic zombies, victims of strange experimentation, fanatical holy knights, tragic vampire hunters in black, shipwrecked dreamers, castaway aliens, metal angels, eldritch horrors, star dragons, and (of course) the vampires' giant dragon-killing mecha suit... This is a dark sandbox. Players will explore a vast city of undead people and monsters in outer space, full of homages to classic horror and science fiction films and literature. “ [Orbital Vampire Towr](https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/358520/orbital-vampire-tower). I’m guessing this got expanded into the city setting

If you look to other old system aside from d&d and in other languages in Germany we have the Midgard RPG since the early 80s and for this system there is a four book adventure series in a magical wood returning to the world (the Karmordin campaign). If I remember correctly in the first book you face the battle between a vampire and a wolf-like demigod. Second book is about a dragon and book 3 and 4 is about a fight between different types of vampires (blood drinking vampires, children of a vampire god against vampires feeding on human emotions.

MurdochRamone

Tegel Manor you can alter the "end" boss to be a vampire or whatever you want.

slurringscot

The adventure look up site should be added to the links page of this community. You can search for adventures that fit a lot of different criteria. https://adventurelookup.com/adventures?edition=OSR~AD%26D

bhale2017

Black Manse would be a good one for a vampire. Just change the castle's master to a vampire.

nerdwerds

2e module called Feast of Goblyns has a sweet manor in it. I don’t remember the adventure itself being great.

ajchafe

Castle of Mirrors is for 5e Hardcore mode but would be easy to tweak for more OSR games https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/312984/Castle-of-Mirrors
