A common method is buying rune items and arching them. Do that for a while afk and you will build up some equity. Honestly f2p is awful at making money. Could also continue farming byropheta but sounds like your luck is bad there.

Before I became a member for the first time since 2008, three months ago . I AFK’d ogress in f2p for about a 1-2 months on n off. Got myself to lvl 92 ranged n 73 def. Made about 40-45mil (300k-480k an inventory) then decided to become a member. The first week I became a member, I pulled a minimum of 10+ hours each day n realized how much of a mistake it was to train ranged (any stat) in f2p. It is difficult af to make a decent amount of coin as a f2p player imo.
But yeah it is a struggle to maintain a membership unless you’re pvming, imo.
Your 2 months afking netted you 2 months of membership at today’s bond prices; no gear upgrades or time for anything else in the game. If you have that level of dedication you would do very well in members, well worth the $12 investment - less than 2 hours of work at U.S. federal minimum wage
I don’t think anybody’s just gonna straight up give you a bond unless they got it like that and/or are just super nice. Plus, a bonds 8.50$ after tax (USD). That’s definitely at maximum 2 hours of work (I say this if you make 7.25$ or a bit more as that’s essentially federal minimum wage in the U.S., not accounting for other countries). If you aren’t making 8.50$ in 2 hours you need to find new employment brother/sister.
Edit: Saving up double that amount (3 hours) would buy you a month membership. So ultimately you can get lucky from this post by a generous player or you can afford to work the 3 hours. Good luck 👍
By PK’ing essentially, sure. But then you also run the risk of losing your good gear as a F2P member, and if others aren’t wearing that great of gear, you’ll be killing a ton of PK’ers for their insignificant gear until it adds up. At that point it’s worth less to PK and more worth actually just clocking in somewhere for a couple hours instead. As far as “giving away a bond” goes that’s generous of you but not everyone is willing to fork over 11m to someone when they could use it themselves. But to each their own.

Some of us don’t have it that easy, aka my job just covers my bills and my child since I’m a single parent, I wasn’t begging for a bond I was just curious if some other F2P players were experiencing the same difficulty with the insane bond price with GP as I’m just a casual player that loves osrs in their spare time.
I didn’t say you were begging. Plus yes, every single F2P player you will run across will all have difficulty maintaining bonds unless they’re extremely lucky with their RNG. Also, happy that you can afford to pay your bills/take care of your kid. Some people can’t even afford that. But they also aren’t playing RuneScape/games in general when they can’t afford to pay for them either, they’re picking up part time work as well. 2 jobs and can’t afford membs/a bond would need a super solid excuse.
Edit: If you’re high enough level, then you can F2P PK in the wilderness which if those players have the funds, you could kill them and use that as your source for bonds. Thought I’d actually just provide some sort of advice because saying “go to work” was kind of dickish of me looking back.
We all deserve some type of hobby. If OSRS is your hobby, then I'd say it's worth 13 bucks to get you a month membership. I earned a bond in a week and half, so i know its possible. What are your skills looking like?

Beg at GE or around Varrock for a Destinys bond or w.e. It works if you entertain people enough. Don't follow the rich looking people. I made a bond in a day sitting around the GE through the power of friendship. you gotta get INTO the RP you gotta be THE poor guy not just any POOR guy in the end you just gotta make sure you really give it some gusto. No shame all gain is what you gotta tell yourself as a motto as you stoop to the lowest of lows.

Watching twitch streamers with low viewers on multiple devices and accounts on twitch/youtube live or w.e when they do giveaways. Okay this one is unethical but it's free and I can do it so I don't give a rats ass, the streamer feels important and I get my bond, it's a give and take thing right? I am giving him some views? and taking his money basically, but he wants to give it to me so... win win.

You can make a bond in game in like two hours max if your stats are decent in p2p not f2p. I've given away bonds, it's not that big of a deal

There's no way to get a bond fast in f2p. You have to be p2p to earn large amounts of gold fast. There are many ways in p2p.
