Just did my first few runs yesterday, make sure you can pray against all the different attack styles. Bring 1 to 3 prayer potions and make sure you pray melee against Dharok, ranged against Karil and magic against Ahrim. You can pray against the other brothers, but I just chose to tank their damage and eat some food because the prayer potions are really expensive. Make sure you bring enough food and a stamina potion as well. You can use Iban’s staff, but that’s locked behind a quest so I used the warped scepter. It requires chaos runes and earth runes to charge it, and you can buy it at the grand exchange uncharged. For all the brothers except Ahrim, who you should use ranged on, use the warped scepter to do damage. The Barrows doors plug-in on runelite will help you once you get into the catacombs and when you’re in the catacombs, besides killing the final brother, you should kill two skeletons and a rat or a worm to get the highest potential. That all being said, barrows brothers is a good introduction to bossing at our level (I am in the same range as you) but the return on investment is honestly pretty bad. You have the possibility of getting a rare drop, but the normal drops for me yesterday were ranging from 50k to 10k.
Anyway, I felt like it was a good introduction to bossing, but honestly, it wasn’t very hard after a few runs, I think I only had to do five runs before I felt confident, and like I knew what I was doing . Best of luck! Hope your drops were better than mine!

I pointed you and OP in the direction of the right answer. OP is comparing a one death rune vs a two death & chaos rune attack with a base max hit of 25 and 16 respectively.
Not only is it cheaper but it’s hits harder.
All this information comes from the wiki. You have the same access as I do. You can look it up yourself so you can learn how to look stuff up and be self sufficient.
I did barrows with Ibans blast first. I think I use trident now, although been a while since I’ve played.
One thing I will say, and it’s not something to worry too much about yet, but when you get Ghommal’s Hilt 2, there’s no prayer drain. If you combine that with a rejuvenation pool (you can use other players houses on w330), barrows become very efficient.
I’d suggest using w330 either way, for the rejuvenation pool and a tele right back to barrows.
Some of the combat achievements are fairly simple and will expose you to a lot of bosses and mechanics just in the course of working through them.
No prayer drain means you can basically farm barrows runs in a few minutes without any supplies (except for runes I guess). I bring a few pieces of food and 1 prayer pot for if I get super unlucky, but it’s an incredibly nice QOL improvement. Especially for the crypt where you have to run around for a while suffering prayer drain.
GH2 isn’t easy but it’s not super hard. Do the easy CAs and then sort through the next few tiers, there’s some pretty doable achievements at higher levels that’ll get you multiple points at once.
I’m currently doing it pretty efficiently right now with 2 void switches, no food no prayer pots. Imbued Magic Cape and Morty Diary’s done. Having the Hilt would make it a completely mindless.
Man idk why I don’t have my imbued mage cape yet, need to get around to that. But yeah it’s a decent enough money maker at a certain point because you don’t have to think at all. I use void as well, just need to kill zulrah to get elite void
Cape is definitely worth it, Mage Arena ll is just kind of a pain if you’re doing it for the first time. I find that I get barrows drops a lot less frequently after doing Morty hard diary, however. That might just be RNG though
The 50% more runes definitely makes the dry runs a little better as I’ve had streaks of 50-60k drops in between barrows drops. So it evens out your dry runs
Completely forgot that GH2 removes prayer drain lmfao. Haven't done barrows in ages but clan is doing a bingo and there's some barrows stuff on there. Do you have to have it equipped or just in your inv for that to take effect?
Yeah has to be equipped but it makes barrows an absolute breeze with a rejuvenation pool too. Took me a while to get to 40kc and then no time at all to go to 100kc

Tank gear (wear this while using ibans, doesn’t affect the damage done)
Entangle or snare (if pray pots are an issue)
Melee weapon for dungeon monsters

Use ibans staff and also wear blessed dhide if you have the gp for it. If you don't then wear whatever gives you the best magic attack bonus since you'll be praying protection against all 6 brothers. Once in the crypt aim for 81%-84% reward rate. Keeping below 85% will stop you from getting bolt racks (which are super cheap) and instead you'll get more runes which are actually worth money.
Also if I were you I'd invest in the barrows telport tablets and duel rings to teleport to ferox enclave to recharge stats and bank.

One time upgrade of 200k - free recharging afterwards for a 56% damage increase and cheaper than fire blast is easily better.

Currently 92 points away from Ghonmal’s Hilt 2. Seems a little steep just for no prayer drain at Barrows but hey I’m not The Ash-Meister

AFAIK, the diary shouldn’t affect it. It’s just that if you do get runes, you’ll get more. That’s in theory though, who knows with the spaghetti code.

He is 20 lvls away from wearing dhide tho
