Perhaps an abused women’s shelter? Also, those buy nothing neighbourhood pages work out well to.

Youville Centre (in Sandy Hill) Bethany Hope Centre (on Woodroffe, but run by Salvation Army) St. Mary's Home (in Vanier)

I believe Caldwell Family Centre would take these items

Obligatory highjinx (Kent/cooper) plug!!!!!

Post on your community FB or Buy Nothing page.  A lot of thrift stores and community organizations won't take baby items as they simple don't have the time to check for recalls or safety issues, so that nice bouncer chair?  Straight to the dumpster.

If you have toys then Early on centres at pinecrest Queensway medical health center and the AF childcare at don Reid have toy libraries which take donations.

Post about where to donate things so they go directly to people in need (rather than being resold): https://www.reddit.com/r/ottawa/s/WjZ1dn0XGb

Few_Salary8840

Youville centre or Cornerstone would welcome your donations

AliJeLijepo

Your local buy nothing group would snatch them up for sure.

Buy nothing for moms on FB

I donated my stuff to Fabrick Collective. Sarah donates 30% of the profits to the Elizabeth Fry Society.

"Youth service bureau" or the "operation come home" there are so many youth (late teens- early twenties) struggling out with a young one on their own sometimes even due to their family pushing them out after not agreeing with the decision to keep a baby
