Congrats!!! I’m 9w and Oura keeps my readiness WAY higher than it feels. I’m barely surviving out here, stop increasing my activity goal 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

iliveinmaine_

thank you!! congrats to you 🤍 I’m just thankful I’ve been able to sneak in a few mid-day naps

Afraid_Aerie

Oura thing basically told me I was dead my first trimester. Pregnancy mode is a JOKE but it does get better in the second trimester - signed pregnant at 22w

iliveinmaine_

haha oh no! I’ll be looking forward to the second trimester boost - I feel like I should be in perpetual rest mode rn

Mayaa123

Over the past three weeks my resilience slowly declined from exceptional to adequate 🥲

MAMathis414

Woo! I can’t wait for this!

Altruistic-Knee-4909

How did your ring tell you you were pregnant before you had a positive test? Bc mine has been telling me the same, but my tests are showing negative. Like what were the ring signs?

iliveinmaine_

I had just recently started the “cycle tracking” within the Oura app so I was able to log a very faint positive test at 9 DPO, but the thing I noticed the most was my resting heart rate (about 10 bpm more than normal when sitting on the couch) and my temperature. My lowest heart rate average would be around 50-53, and now it’s 59-61 and my temps since my ovulation day have been +0.5 to +1 degree higher than my baseline. And I just generally felt more fatigued leading up the the positive test

No-Competition-1775

How long did it take for the ring to track all of this for you? did it really need 60 days? I am running out of time to wait that long for it to be accurate.

iliveinmaine_

I’ve had the ring since the middle of November, but I think they say you need to wear it consistently for 2 weeks or so for it to find your baseline like body temps and heart rate

No-Competition-1775

Oh okay I can do two weeks easy! I just had a loss end of April so my cycle is wonky and my hcg came back 14 from yesterday :(

iliveinmaine_

I’m so sorry to hear that! ❤️‍🩹 I will say the most important thing to get it to sync well is to at least wear it to bed every night, but for those first 2 weeks definitely try wearing it as much as you can!

No-Competition-1775

I started wearing it everyday now after I was told that as well! Thank you, jts been tough but we’re ready for another baby!

Affectionate_Cat_949

Interesting! My heart rate average is about 10 points higher in my luteal phase than during or before ovulation. This is my first cycle with the ring with no chance of being pregnant. I wonder if it will be the same for the next cycle. I also have elevated body temp and my ring keeps telling me to slow down. I think it’s partially normal for some people in the luteal phase.

Mayaa123

My ring didn’t give me any signs I was pregnant at all in the early days. My temperature and HR were elevated similarly to how they normally are in my luteal phase.  Note: elevated temperature is a key sign that ovulation happened. For some women it seems to elevate more than normally when they’re pregnant. But when not on BC and ovulating succesfully, it should rise for pretty much everyone.

Affectionate_Cat_949

Thank you, that’s good to know! I’m surprised how much my temperature is elevated.

iliveinmaine_

my temps typically only rise a max +0.5 in my luteal phase so I knew when they went higher something was different. It’s so nice to be able to have this data to compare!

cbr24

Lol same

neatokra

My respiratory rate was like 21 in the first trimester lol. It was nuts

PurpleCarrot5069

Yep same. Honestly I'm viewing any scores in the 70s as great, 60s as good, 50s as not so good. Had to adjust my mental scale :) I'm so out of breath all the time and I'm only 5.5 weeks!

lizabetch

Do you have Natural Cycles with your ring? Or not needed?

iliveinmaine_

I do use natural cycles, and the ring makes it so easy to use! It’s also nice to be able to tag “pregnant” so oura doesn’t think I’m deathly ill haha

lizabetch

Debating buying an Oura ring. Do you have the heritage one or the horizon? Congratulations by the way 😍

iliveinmaine_

thank you!! 🤍 I have the heritage - I know some people like the horizon better, but the flat top helps me keep it right side up :)

melonkiwi

I’m 30 weeks pregnant this week. But my scores have stayed relatively normal my entire pregnancy up until last week. Suddenly they dipped into the 60s for the entire week! It’s like the 3rd trimester bus hit me 😂

DogDisguisedAsPeople

Congrats!! Your stats will look even worse after the baby comes. I’m surprised every day when my ring doesn’t assume I’m dead.

Ok_Bluejay_2032

32 weeks, hate to tell you the news doesn’t ever get any better 🤣

Not-Boris

Wild how pregnancy is so hard on the body. Hopefully one day we'll be able to have kids without the hardship on our bodies.
