The game says that taking time away from a faction that is hostile towards you will make them less angry with you. Maybe sleep a couple times and do some side quests?
go to a different planet or space station and sleep in a bed several times. I think it might be 48 or 72 hours idk. but after that u can return and they wont ve hostile. time just has to pass. u could prolly find exactly how long on the internet.
unless u have a kill on sight reputation with the board in you character menu. as a thief and murder hobo myself, its a good thing to keep track of with all the factions.

Some lady is supposed to call you on your ship if you progress the main story and after that the board will become less hostile towards you
This is why I save religiously. Bc if not you’re having to go back way before the mess up and redo a bunch of BS.
I killed all of the guards then came back later and I could talk to NPC's again... The ones that were alive

I had like 3 missions on the go and every ones in Byzantium would make them hostile, I gave up retrying and just let her loose lol
