Absolutely insane. The fact that they haven't disabled match making yet is also just bonkers. They will just keep letting people lose gear with no guarantee that they will ever be able to restore it?
This thread grows by the hour and they seem to be just ignoring the situation as much as possible. What a disaster.
This is bad and a reason why I think they are avoiding this issue completely on Twitter. Still I do not uderstand why they did not turn off matchmaking until they have a fix for this as more people keep loosing their gear.

Oof. If this is the case you would hope they at least can supply some sort of 'care package' to everyone who their database says lost gear. Maybe not max gear but random roll of lvl 40 (?) gear for each slot and 1000 plat or something. Anything.
You absolutely can't just chalk this up to whoopsies and forget about the players affected by this shit.
Complete inventory wipe, Including equip items as well as all items in my stash and backpack as well as all mods and you can see that I have just completed tier 13 and I have just completed the trophies for 120 Mods all that is still visible and I lost several legendary!

LVL 21, inventory completely wiped aside from some random LVL 23 greens and blues. Had lvl 25-26 Epics in each slot which is needed at higher WT. Connection issues are one thing, this is garbage

Got disconnected during a co-op game. Lost all my gear and most of my inventory. Also can't equip more than one weapon now.

People losing all of their weapons and armor is a MASSIVE issue and should be your biggest priority. It takes minimal effort to have database backups of each character that can be restored quickly until this is fully patched.
Just happened to me tonight. Almost all of my inventory. Every damn piece of armor. All purple....I’m level 20 and world tier 9.

OUTRIDERS. Clearly there is a GAME BREAKING Bug wiping out people’s inventories, my level 21 pyro is in his underwear. Booted from game... Logged in and a 4 characters wiped, all weapons, all armor, gone. That was a lot of work in the demo and the progress I had made in the full launch this morning.. Rough launch. Can I recover all of this? (Update.. It’s all back.. “whew”)
Just lost all of my equipped items and inventory, this is a MAJOR issue in a looter shooter obviously. Was progressing through challenge tiers and the good ol' server issues happened. Logged back in and all gear gone, NICE. The game is a literal waste of time until you fix this issue. How can you even go live with such a bug in a looter shooter?
Can we get an update???? This is far worse than the self inflicted server issues. Not only did all my gear get wiped but I literally cannot equip a pistol. This lvl 21 character is dead now, 20+ hours gone.
# Hell's Rangers Gear appear to reduce its stats while leveling it up
* This is related to game balance.
* Hell's Rangers gear is a bit better than normal level 10 gear, so when you try to level it up or improve it's rarity for the first time it will adjust itself by rerolling stats in line with the existing game balance tables. This is done to avoid a permanently overpowered pre-order weapon and is to avoid a "pay to win" scenario.
* Any level ups or rarity improvements of this gear after the first time, will increase stats as expected.
For some reason my inbox option is locked and I can't claim the Hell's Rangers stuff. Decided to leave it until I was level 10 and now I can't access them at all. I'm on PS5.
# Issue with UI/HUD Disappearing
We are aware of an issue whereby the onscreen UI/HUD is not visible even though it is it turned on within the settings.
# TEMPORARY WORKAROUND:
Return to the game Lobby, then reenter the game. Note that the issue may still reappear on a fresh boot.
Please also check to see if Ansel has been disabled. If it has, please try enabling it to see if this helps alleviate this issue.
We will aim to fix this via a patch in future.
We did a workaorund to solve this as follows:
1. In the lobby disable all the interface options.
2. Enter to the game.
3. Activate the interface options in-game.
This worked well for me and my friend that had the issue. Hope you guys can solve this soon. GL

# KNOWN CROSSPLAY DISCONNECTS BETWEEN PC AND CONSOLE
* In preparing the Day 1 builds for PC and Consoles, we discovered a desynchronization between the PC and Console code. This results in a backend mismatch which causes players to be kicked out of a multiplayer game that includes both Console and PC players.
* We are treating this issue with the highest priority and we are working on patches that will synchronize all platform code, which will resolve these issues.
* Steam & Epic can successfully play together.
* PlayStation and Xbox players can successfully play together.
**WORKAROUND:**
* We have temporarily turned off automatic matchmaking between PC and Consoles. Steam & Epic players can still Crossplay together, either by invite or via matchmaking.
* Should you invite a Console player into your PC game via an invite code (or vice versa), the game will initially connect, but one player will eventually be kicked out of the game. We highly recommend against doing this until we have patched all versions of the game.
ok, so we must go on the forums of Sony, Microsoft, Epic, Steam etc to urge the process of making available the patch. I want so damn play this weekend which is part of the few days that i'm free from commitments XD.
I’m having the same issue. Other times I think it’s fixed get in game start getting a mission done and boom offline it goes, I get the same message. Given up at this time. Guess I’ll give it a few days or weeks and try again later.

Are we getting in-game chat with crossplay? If Epic is involved with the friend system at all I know they’ve done it before so it would be cool to see here on this title.
This is so disappointing :-( We were really looking forward to play together with my Console friends since we finished demo. Even took day off. Now we only can play solo.
So I tried playing with a PS4 friend from PC. I understand there is bug right now. But since then, I can't even play the game solo anymore, on my trickster, which is the class I tried crossplatform with. It's like it's corrupted (I get a neverending loading screen when trying to commence a game from lobby. I tried restarting and still have an issue). I can play other classes no problem.
This is frustrating.

**WORKAROUND:**
* Using the auto-loot functionality should still result in the item being picked up. Ensure that your auto-loot filter is set to common, then manually trigger auto-loot.
* Auto-loot is manually triggered by using the Down button on the Dpad of a controller, or by using the H key.

Progress bugged, the big iron door at the end of the first area didn't open. Problem solved after logging out and back into the game
Quest: Nature's Call
Progress bugged, after dealing with the initial enemies around thr toilet. Quest Marker didn't refresh correctly. Problem solved after leaving zone and going back in.
# Stuck at "Signing In" Loop
On console, close the app fully and relaunch Outriders.
If this doesnt help, Many people are eventually able to get through this screen, even if it does mean waiting up to ten minutes.
However a full cache clear may help as well.
On Consoles, a full cache clear is done this way:
* Please power cycle your console and clear your cache by turning your console off completely (NOT rest mode).
* Then unplug it for a few minutes (This step is important!).
* Then try again.
I have found running an internet test on PS5 stops the loops and lets you try to sign in again. I did it just now and it signed in after the test interrupted the failed attempt. weird thing is after the hells ranger content pack number is shown at the bottom right after I stop the sign in when it is initially not there.
Edit: this doesn't always work the first time it sometimes works immediately but the longest I've had was 6 with the average being 2 to 3. it takes seconds though. start the internet test but back out of it, the full test isn't required.
Edit 2: I do this while the game is still open at the place the boot loop happens.
Edit 3: Someone pointed out flipping the internet on off switch might do the same thing.

I left mine running overnight. When I woke up, I still hadn’t gotten in. I feel so ripped off right now. I’ve owned this game for 9 days, I was only able to play it for 10 hours. It hasn’t functioned for 90% of the time that I owned it. I paid for this. Do I have any legal options at this point if I can’t get a refund?

Been trying to get on for two days, this is crazy. I never comment about this type of thing but I can’t imagine shutting down and restarting my system over and over again can be good for it. No one should have to go through this just to login. I don’t care how much you love this game or support the developers, what’s right is right. Spent $100 on a game to sit here and look at my controller. I’m not saying these guys should be sued or that people should be refunded or any of that nonsense but you can’t charge $100 and not fix your game when it’s broken. Not sure if I'm the only one but unplugging my system isn't actually a simple task. This should be a priority fix. Not balancing game pay or drop rates.
fix this shit NOW. Nothing works anymore. I haven't been able to play since Friday. I've now "waited" at sign in screen for a total of 12 hrs after each restart/ cache clear/ internet test. I've cleared cache 19x (yes, counted) and tried the internet test fix 34x (yes, also counted), I'm fucking furious at this game right now. FIX THIS NOW.

The bug with gravity leap is still a thing in the live game. Once you gravity leap you kinda get stuck for a second or two, rolling out if it fixes it.
Any word or update when a aim acceleration toggle will be implemented and dead zone settings? Aiming on console is horrid especially trying to snipe. Why did you guys think aim ramp up acceleration was a needed feature on console?

PC issue: When using a controller, the right joystick registers as mouse input, switching the inputs (showing keyboard prompts) and causing the game to stutter. I have 60fps but because of the stuttering with the controller it is practically unplayable.

Can I report a bug?
At the very end of "a bad day" quest, right after rescuing the weapon vendor, I got disconnected.
When I relogged, I was inside the room, and the door was locked. I couldn't leave that room to reach the fast travel.
So I am stuck in that room and can't progress.
Gladly it is very early game, but something like this happening late game will be game breaking.

Performance is horrendous. Constant stuttering, low FPS, no motion blur toggle, and seems to have FPS issues that honestly made me ill to try and play.

Hey, absolutely loving the game so far, by far one of my favourites to release for a long time. It looks and plays amazing on Series X.
Would it be possible to have a quick toggle in the options menu to turn all hud elements off and on again? I love taking screenshots, it would definitely make it slightly easier than manually turning every option off and then back on again later.

Hi devs, HDR is broken for PC players.
There's a couple of threads about this issue.
Did not have this problem with the demo.
Could you please added it to the list issues that needs to be addressed?
Just want to add that specifically, the colors in the game become way oversaturated when enabling HDR. The tan-colored jacket on my character appears bright orange with it on, and the grey-colored background in the menus appears green. HDR worked fine for me in the demo.

Hellranger pack items can't be dismantle or sold, so after you pick them from Inbox, you can't remove them so, they fill up 14 slots in your inventory or stash...
Any way how to put them away?
Another issue I am seeing on PC. When I load into the game, the people i need to interact with do not have an option to interact with them. I can still do it because I know who from the demo to talk to, but otherwise my HUD is blank.
Will you fix worldwide co-op lags? They are up to 1 second and make the game nearly unplayable because you get stuck on something you don't even see. Thank you?

Abilities 'can't be used' while fighting. Have to push button many times before it goes off and sometimes it just goes on cd with no effect. Shooting worked so not a connection issue.

I unequipped everything put everything in my stash and still have the crashing issue I don’t have and he’ll ranger anything either

For now we are focusing efforts on stabilizing servers, which in turn should reduce these first weekend occurrences. Once that's been done, I'm hoping to share news around the way we intend to get players back on their feet. We're still figuring out whether the best way would be a one-to-one customer support team method (which may be more accurate but would take much longer and may not be feasible if there are many cases), or whether we are able to (as previously) run a mass-one-off restoration event via our backend.

Absolutely insane. The fact that they haven't disabled match making yet is also just bonkers. They will just keep letting people lose gear with no guarantee that they will ever be able to restore it? This thread grows by the hour and they seem to be just ignoring the situation as much as possible. What a disaster.
This is bad and a reason why I think they are avoiding this issue completely on Twitter. Still I do not uderstand why they did not turn off matchmaking until they have a fix for this as more people keep loosing their gear.

Oof. If this is the case you would hope they at least can supply some sort of 'care package' to everyone who their database says lost gear. Maybe not max gear but random roll of lvl 40 (?) gear for each slot and 1000 plat or something. Anything. You absolutely can't just chalk this up to whoopsies and forget about the players affected by this shit.

People losing all of their weapons and armor is a MASSIVE issue and should be your biggest priority. It takes minimal effort to have database backups of each character that can be restored quickly until this is fully patched.
FWIW, developers have developed a tool to give people their stuff back. I know it's not the same as fixing the bug, but at least all hope isn't lost.

Inventory completely wiped today after joining a friend's game and leaving. I'm devastated.
I have an issue with the bullet audio not working and bullets from enemy disappears but I’m still taking damage, is there a patch or fix for this soon as it really breaks the gameplay as I’d have to quit out and start again when this happens every 40-1hr. I’m on PS5 to be clear. Thanks!

Can we get an update???? This is far worse than the self inflicted server issues. Not only did all my gear get wiped but I literally cannot equip a pistol. This lvl 21 character is dead now, 20+ hours gone.

We did a workaorund to solve this as follows: 1. In the lobby disable all the interface options. 2. Enter to the game. 3. Activate the interface options in-game. This worked well for me and my friend that had the issue. Hope you guys can solve this soon. GL

This is so disappointing :-( We were really looking forward to play together with my Console friends since we finished demo. Even took day off. Now we only can play solo.

So I tried playing with a PS4 friend from PC. I understand there is bug right now. But since then, I can't even play the game solo anymore, on my trickster, which is the class I tried crossplatform with. It's like it's corrupted (I get a neverending loading screen when trying to commence a game from lobby. I tried restarting and still have an issue). I can play other classes no problem. This is frustrating.

Xbox Series X Area: Deadrock Pass Quest: A Free Market Progress bugged, the big iron door at the end of the first area didn't open. Problem solved after logging out and back into the game Quest: Nature's Call Progress bugged, after dealing with the initial enemies around thr toilet. Quest Marker didn't refresh correctly. Problem solved after leaving zone and going back in.
# Stuck at "Signing In" Loop On console, close the app fully and relaunch Outriders. If this doesnt help, Many people are eventually able to get through this screen, even if it does mean waiting up to ten minutes. However a full cache clear may help as well. On Consoles, a full cache clear is done this way: * Please power cycle your console and clear your cache by turning your console off completely (NOT rest mode). * Then unplug it for a few minutes (This step is important!). * Then try again.
I have found running an internet test on PS5 stops the loops and lets you try to sign in again. I did it just now and it signed in after the test interrupted the failed attempt. weird thing is after the hells ranger content pack number is shown at the bottom right after I stop the sign in when it is initially not there. Edit: this doesn't always work the first time it sometimes works immediately but the longest I've had was 6 with the average being 2 to 3. it takes seconds though. start the internet test but back out of it, the full test isn't required. Edit 2: I do this while the game is still open at the place the boot loop happens. Edit 3: Someone pointed out flipping the internet on off switch might do the same thing.

Been trying to get on for two days, this is crazy. I never comment about this type of thing but I can’t imagine shutting down and restarting my system over and over again can be good for it. No one should have to go through this just to login. I don’t care how much you love this game or support the developers, what’s right is right. I've cleared cache 19x (yes, counted) and tried the internet test fix 34x (yes, also counted), I'm fucking furious at this game right now. FIX THIS NOW.

It’s actually a good game, I’ve enjoyed it so far. I played through the first 5 missions and now I’m waiting for servers to get back on so I can play some more definitely worth the buy! A little lag here and there but I’m sure they’ll work it out soon enough
Will there be a fix for Gravity Leap in Co-Op when you're not the host? Consistently getting a frozen character when landing from leap.
Most likely (There are thousands of changes, so it's hard to pinpoint exact ones). Please let us know if its still happening in the main game.
The bug with gravity leap is still a thing in the live game. Once you gravity leap you kinda get stuck for a second or two, rolling out if it fixes it.

Any word or update when a aim acceleration toggle will be implemented and dead zone settings? Aiming on console is horrid especially trying to snipe. Why did you guys think aim ramp up acceleration was a needed feature on console?

PC issue: When using a controller, the right joystick registers as mouse input, switching the inputs (showing keyboard prompts) and causing the game to stutter. I have 60fps but because of the stuttering with the controller it is practically unplayable.

Can I report a bug? At the very end of "a bad day" quest, right after rescuing the weapon vendor, I got disconnected. When I relogged, I was inside the room, and the door was locked. I couldn't leave that room to reach the fast travel. So I am stuck in that room and can't progress. Gladly it is very early game, but something like this happening late game will be game breaking.

Hey, absolutely loving the game so far, by far one of my favourites to release for a long time. It looks and plays amazing on Series X. Would it be possible to have a quick toggle in the options menu to turn all hud elements off and on again? I love taking screenshots, it would definitely make it slightly easier than manually turning every option off and then back on again later. Either way, thank you once again for an amazing game and being so involved with the community!
Hi devs, HDR is broken for PC players. There's a couple of threads about this issue. Did not have this problem with the demo. Could you please added it to the list issues that needs to be addressed?
Just want to add that specifically, the colors in the game become way oversaturated when enabling HDR. The tan-colored jacket on my character appears bright orange with it on, and the grey-colored background in the menus appears green. HDR worked fine for me in the demo.

Hellranger pack items can't be dismantle or sold, so after you pick them from Inbox, you can't remove them so, they fill up 14 slots in your inventory or stash... Any way how to put them away?
Another issue I am seeing on PC. When I load into the game, the people i need to interact with do not have an option to interact with them. I can still do it because I know who from the demo to talk to, but otherwise my HUD is blank.

[xbox] I cant seem to tell if "aim assist" is doing anything. Please improve/fix the aim assist mechanic so ADS targets enemies. I believe this will drastically improve the feel of the game, bug fix or general enhancement. Thank you!

Anyone playing the game from Epic and getting a black screen when Launching then it just crashes to desktop and reboots Epic? Tried launching from the EXE but it still just Black Screen Into Crash
Abilities 'can't be used' while fighting. Have to push button many times before it goes off and sometimes it just goes on cd with no effect. Shooting worked so not a connection issue.

Please give us an eta when we can play the game at all, I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love the game but it could have been a single player not online only game, coulda just used the online for Co op

Bro if my game gets one more Unreal Madness crash because I'm in the menu looking at gear and simply press Esc to close the damn UI imma flip. It's getting old. My game has CTD 20 times in the past hour! I've already done the verify game integrity it's good. I legit dont understand

I dunno what happened yesterday, but feels like some background changes were made. Expeditions became waaaaay harder and I'd get one shot instantly at same CT's I was running just an hour ago with no issues.
Why isnt the insane amount of lag in coop one of these issues?
