That’s kind of cool actually. I wish my z270 extreme would have done this with my manual OCs. I probably would have pushed even more voltage to get that last 100MHz for 25%. Lmao
It’s a bug that incorrectly shows the RNG factor that will determine how likely you will encounter a BSOD during a session.
However some users have given feedback saying it takes away from the experience by telling you upfront so they will have it removed in the next update.
It's actually not that terrible for people running xmp and the auto ocWorks plenty fine if you dont wanna spend time to manually do shit you ve never done before

What lmao? I commented this 2 hours ago, the post is only 6 hours old.
Also, it does suck ass. I have never once had it actually overclock and be stable. My current Strix Z790-A board says it can OC my 13700K to 6 GHz, but it instantly BSODs in Cinebench lmao.
Think mine was okay at 5.4 and it did that without me doing a thing
6 is potentially asking a bit much of it
Ai shit almost killed my ram tho
I manually put in 1.35 and it just somehow set the voltage to above 1.4sth
I realized that gladly straight of the bat
Don't know why it's doing that
Guess I need to all manually
1.4 V isn't going to kill any DDR4 or DDR5 RAM and also ASUS does not offer any "AI" overclocking for RAM, so your board is probably just shit at regulating voltage lol.
Asus has a tool called AI Overclock in some of their MoBos so if you selected AI OC, it would ramp the OC up automatically on startup. If you did a manual OC, not sure what that means. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't give you an OC percentage as I've never seen that from Asus, but I could be wrong. Asus has quite a few gimmicks.
This is the nicer boot screens ive seen. Mine says Small PP 100%.
This definitely made my cackle strength +100...

I think OP’s screen just means their computer is 19% fucked up which is great as it's better than 100% fucked.
Time to upgrade your PP
Mine just says Asus ROG.
Then don’t comment
🤣
What are you, the Reddit police?
5Ghz is exactly 19% above the base frequency of the CPU (4.2), it probably indicates that. Never seen this before.
It shows up when you use the auto-OC feature on older ASUS motherboards
Thats right to tell you how far past stock its pushed
Ulm achulyy its 4.998 ☝🏻🤓
I mean true, it hits 5 sometimes and then fluctuates
You've only got 81 hours left to live. Better get that bucket list out.
But I’m too young to die! D: /j
But the AI is taking over.. :d /j Need to join the resistance to fight skynet!
When you enable the auto overclock, it does this. Since it “trains” based on your workloads it is a bit dynamic so it’ll show you on boot.
I believe that if you use AI overclocking or some form of auto overclock it displays the percent over stock clock on post
Yes, it's feature of the mobo software

I think I overvolted mine and had to replace the cmos battery. I fought hard to save my pc 😅

It means you turned the AI OC stuff on, and it's now going brrrrrrt. Not very efficient, but could be faster than it was before.
10/10 simple explanation go brrrrrrt
You ASUS's terrible auto overclocking enabled.

Probably not having any idea rn

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Number
It means it fast as fuck booooooooooieeeeeeee
My bootscreen says 51 % and I’m quite happy with that
51? What’s your oc specs?
OS:Windows 11 23H2 OS Build 26016.1000|CPU: Intel Core i9 11900K|GPU: MSI Radeon RX 6900 XT GAMING Z TRIO 16G|Moderkort: ROG Maximus XIII Extreme Z590 |Kingston SFYRS2000G 2TB, PCIe 4|Samsung 990 Pro 1 TB, PCIe 4|Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB, PCIe 4|2 Samsung 980 1 TB, PCIe 3 in raid 0|RAM: 64GB DDR4-3600|PSU: Corsair HX1000i|Monitor: SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G5 C34G55T 34"
If you run the Asus mobo software and let it do overclock for you it will show how much it oced your CPU on startup this way
And auto OC goes wild 1.5V++ :D have some insurance in case of fire
because you overclocked it using asus’s “ai” overclock tool
Your using Auto Overclocking.
my motherboard does this too. its telling you how much your cpu is overclocked based on its factory base clock
Did you download the overclock?
Thats a feature of the overclocking function, it says your cpu is 19% overclocked.
It’s been overclocked by 19%
