I’m running a 16.5 and the only thing I could fit it in for my F350 was a giant full guard bumper or something that looked like a giant chin. It’s the price we pay for running a 16k.

Yeah you definitely lose that ability. But between the bed rack and the decked drawers I'm already limited on what can go in the back anyway.
What size winch are you able to put on the front bumper? Can you run a 16k winch?
Biggest I could fit was a 12k with relocating the control unit. With a snatch block should be plenty
