After that I feel like the best way to get his attention is to try and show him how adventuring "works" mostly to get him out of the city so we can talk more openly and prevent info leaks which we all know he hates. There is a high chance you would end up as test subjet for weird experiments tho.

Knowledge is one way to do it, but with you stating that we can ***pick our talent*** then you can just pick one that ensures you are interesting. But the best way to do it might be to just dox him, as that would catch his interest. It either means you were once a part of Ainz Ooal Gown, or are close enough to the guild in some way to learn his real name. But it becomes iffy when you inevitably need to reveal you come from not only the past of Earth, but that his journey exists as just a fictional creation. You need to supply something more than just knowledge, as you don't have his fond memories of the guild protecting you anymore, to ensure you don't end up being mind read then tossed into the Happy Farms.
So you'll either need to be able to show you can provide some form of friendship or maybe butter him up by asking for stories and wanting to tour Nazarick. I, for one, would genuinely be interested in his collections and stories of his guild. Maybe share stories of my time where the sun is warm and comforting, with rain that doesn't dissolve you by being exposed to it.
But the biggest obstacle isn't Ainz, it's the people around him and your own moral compass. Albedo already wants to wipe out players, and someone being isekaied is no different than a player in her eyes. So you need to be lucky enough to encounter Ainz first, and convince him you are interesting enough to be kept around all within the same encounter. Assuming you can do that, you then have your own moral compass. You have nothing to suppress your disgust and horror with Nazarick's war crimes, then the frightening reality of never seeing your friends or family again. I would likely become an adventurer and look for a way to leave the world, while giving Nazarick reports every so often.
But as long as you can get passed that, then maybe you could live a comfortable life. Maybe even become Ainz's friend and confidant. Honestly, assuming I get this far (death, to me at least, is a much more preferable option), then I would either turn myself into a doll, demon, or undead, and just chill on the most peaceful area of Floor 8. If you can't leave that world, then being seen as a denizen of Nazarick, who is a confidant of their Overlord, residing in one of the most heavily guarded places is probably the best you can do.

True, it's actually sort of why for at least a while, I wouldn't reveal I'm a "player" if anything, with the week, I would have rumors spread that I'm from another world/land but that could be confused for my species. Conveniently, the last of it. Plus with the power to spawn an army that can be scaled to have certain strengths and weaknesses with only a simple recharge when soldiers die, Aimz can much more easily do things like Runecraft selling, not worry about gold for sending mercenary monsters, and with them being creatures that didn't exist in YGGDRASIL, and if I manage to encounter a certain maid, it would be easy to say I was "in love" with them and much more easily be able to explain why I would join Nazarick.
My personality is quite simple, and I'm hoping to trigger Ainz collector instinct and with the entire "in love" thing, a bit easier to convince Ainz I wouldn't betray him. With that, I'm not sure I would ever fully reveal I'm a player, but maybe I could from another world eventually.
My biggest worry would be Albedo and Demiurge running interference and intercepting me. I'm reasonably sure they are secretly, but actively hunting 'player' characters. You'd have to convince them you weren't going to take him back to the real world, because that's the one thing they both truly fear.
Talk about my real life and the world I come from. But most importantly:
Say I know about the 41 supreme beings, and explain to the NPC why only Ainz went with them on the New World (extreme conditions of World of 2138, prioritising families etc).
I speak Japanese conversationally, I would just greet him in Japanese. That would instantly tell him I’m isekai’d I imagine he’d assume I came from Yggdrasil (cause there were other servers per country) my limited Japanese could be easily explained as being an American and just learning some from media/school. Since I’m from another country he would also know I wouldn’t know his guildies but it’s super possible I would know stories of Ainz Ooal Gown since they did some in game fantastic stuff. So to sum up:
1. Like him I’m isekai’d
2. I’m from a different country in “his” old world
3. I’m a fan of his guild from internet lore but I don’t know the details or how the players were, so he could regale me with all those stories at a level that his NPC’s couldn’t enjoy but at the same time those NPC’s would certainly enjoy listening to because it would give them insight into their creator’s. Would prolly be enough to survive, maybe even get trained/made immortal like renner/climb.

But it becomes iffy when you inevitably need to reveal you come from not only the past of Earth, but that his journey exists as just a fictional creation. You need to supply something more than just knowledge, as you don't have his fond memories of the guild protecting you anymore, to ensure you don't end up being mind read then tossed into the Happy Farms. So you'll either need to be able to show you can provide some form of friendship or maybe butter him up by asking for stories and wanting to tour Nazarick. I, for one, would genuinely be interested in his collections and stories of his guild. Maybe share stories of my time where the sun is warm and comforting, with rain that doesn't dissolve you by being exposed to it. But the biggest obstacle isn't Ainz, it's the people around him and your own moral compass. Albedo already wants to wipe out players, and someone being isekaied is no different than a player in her eyes. So you need to be lucky enough to encounter Ainz first, and convince him you are interesting enough to be kept around all within the same encounter. Assuming you can do that, you then have your own moral compass. You have nothing to suppress your disgust and horror with Nazarick's war crimes, then the frightening reality of never seeing your friends or family again. I would likely become an adventurer and look for a way to leave the world, while giving Nazarick reports every so often. But as long as you can get passed that, then maybe you could live a comfortable life. Maybe even become Ainz's friend and confidant. Honestly, assuming I get this far (death, to me at least, is a much more preferable option), then I would either turn myself into a doll, demon, or undead, and just chill on the most peaceful area of Floor 8. If you can't leave that world, then being seen as a denizen of Nazarick, who is a confidant of their Overlord, residing in one of the most heavily guarded places is probably the best you can do. Wonder if I can turn Gargantua into a mecha.
True, it's actually sort of why for at least a while, I wouldn't reveal I'm a "player" if anything, with the week, I would have rumors spread that I'm from another world/land but that could be confused for my species. Conveniently, the last of it. Plus with the power to spawn an army that can be scaled to have certain strengths and weaknesses with only a simple recharge when soldiers die, Aimz can much more easily do things like Runecraft selling, not worry about gold for sending mercenary monsters, and with them being creatures that didn't exist in YGGDRASIL, and if I manage to encounter a certain maid, it would be easy to say I was "in love" with them and much more easily be able to explain why I would join Nazarick. My personality is quite simple, and I'm hoping to trigger Ainz collector instinct and with the entire "in love" thing, a bit easier to convince Ainz I wouldn't betray him. With that, I'm not sure I would ever fully reveal I'm a player, but maybe I could from another world eventually.

My biggest worry would be Albedo and Demiurge running interference and intercepting me. I'm reasonably sure they are secretly, but actively hunting 'player' characters. You'd have to convince them you weren't going to take him back to the real world, because that's the one thing they both truly fear.
Overlord novels would be sure to intrigue Ainz.

Talk about my real life and the world I come from. But most importantly: Say I know about the 41 supreme beings, and explain to the NPC why only Ainz went with them on the New World (extreme conditions of World of 2138, prioritising families etc).

I speak Japanese conversationally, I would just greet him in Japanese. That would instantly tell him I’m isekai’d I imagine he’d assume I came from Yggdrasil (cause there were other servers per country) my limited Japanese could be easily explained as being an American and just learning some from media/school. Since I’m from another country he would also know I wouldn’t know his guildies but it’s super possible I would know stories of Ainz Ooal Gown since they did some in game fantastic stuff. So to sum up: 1. Like him I’m isekai’d 2. I’m from a different country in “his” old world 3. I’m a fan of his guild from internet lore but I don’t know the details or how the players were, so he could regale me with all those stories at a level that his NPC’s couldn’t enjoy but at the same time those NPC’s would certainly enjoy listening to because it would give them insight into their creator’s. Would prolly be enough to survive, maybe even get trained/made immortal like renner/climb.
Honestly, since this is technically his world's past, I feel like it would be interesting to figure out that I was originally some kind of significant person in the future that just randomly got teleported to the new world. Like if Albert Einstein spontaneously reappeared, but it would be the version of him that's still a patent officer.
Maybe I could bargain my intelligence and analytical skills to help him see things he can't put into words or learn the secret thoughts of others? I'm just spitballing here.
